Comments about Laura Geller Baked Body Frosting:

I am normally a user of another premium brand of makeup, BUT this stuff is really nice!!!! I own this in both Honey and Tahitian glow versions. And using both has given me the option of not using actual foundation!! Normally I use Sugar under my foundation and WOW gives my face a great glow all over - the look of nice healthy skin...Now that it is summer I use the Tahitian in conjunction with my faux tanners - For that great sun kissed color!! An extremely high quality product. I use a BIG brush and swirl it in the product then I spritz it lightly with a mist of some sort of water or facial spray and buff it on. Goes on great, eliminates the problem of not smoothing on evenly...or if your like me sometimes one part of your face or body grabs more product causing it not to apply evenly. I have somewhat sensitive skin and have had no reactions to any of Laura's products that I have used... I am looking forward to purchasing this in Hawaiian Glow next as I get a little darker in the summer.. I have experienced little to no transfer of this product. As for the price - not really a lot if you take into account how great this product is and how much you actually get in the compact - and how long it will last you. The compacts are huge and I have the original one that I purchased over 3 years ago and it is still looks like I just bought it. Look to have it probably for another 3-4 years before I even start putting a dent in it.... I love this stuff!!!! I don't find that this product is real shimmery. To me it has more of a sheen - really pretty. Just like with any makeup product the key is to blend, blend, blend. I have found no negative aspects to this product. High quality and will last you forever!!! mo911

This is hard to apply. Gets on everything and only lasts for about 10 uses on arms and legs. Jergens moose self tanner is the best I've e dr found and I e tried them all. Huge waste of money buying this product.

I love this product, specifically the Tahitian Glow color but would love to try the Hawaiian Glow next. I love the color and coverage of this product, it's pretty easy to apply and I find it doesn't transfer and the color last. My only complaint is the shimmer in this product. I know it is necessary to keep the product from looking too flat, and for the most part I can live with the shimmer, but I would love the exact product with half or none of the shimmer, for certain occasions.

Hello! You can actually use any one of these shades that you desire. The lightest out of the bunch is honey glow, so that might work best. It has more of a golden/honey undertone as opposed to Tahitian and Hawaiian glow which have more of a pink/cool undertone. You can use the puff that comes with the bronzer and apply all over certain areas of the body, and you can use the puff to diffuse the product and make it as light as you want... so you can choose whichever shade you want and apply as heavy or as light as you want. If you want the lightest color that will look the most natural, choose honey glow :-)

I am Asian and tan easily. I have been out in the sun a lot this year and is very tanned with tan lines. I am going to a wedding. What shade should I use (Tahitian or Hawaiian) to cover up the tan lines and still apply all over body without looking too dark?

I am so happy you will be using our Baked Body Frosting to help cover the tan lines! It's an amazing product and not only will it cover, it'll add an irresistible gorgeous glow to the skin. Hawaiian Glow is definitely the darkest and most pink out of all of the shades. You really can't go wrong with either choice, but if you have more of a warmer undertone (more yellow or gold), choose the Tahitian Glow. If you have cooler skin (more pink or blue), choose the Hawaiian. I hope this helps! Enjoy!

Hello! The Hawaiian glow is definitely darker than the Tahitian glow. Just about 1-2 shades deeper. It has a little more orange swirled into it. I would say that it's a bit warmer. The Tahitian glow has more pink swirled into it, which makes it beautiful on cooler to neutral skin tones. Both have the same type of finish. They aren't shimmery or glittery, yet they do leave the skin with a slight luminosity/radiant finish. Enjoy!

If you apply the bronzer and immediate rub it on clothing or something else, it will transfer. However it does not after you let it sit for a bit. Once you apply the bronzer, let it settle onto your skin for about 10-15 minutes. You'll find that the product is now transfer free! It is not waterproof, so it will start to wash away when you take a shower. It is one of my absolute favorite products- it'll make your legs look like they have nylons on! Enjoy!

You should try the Tahitian Glow. This body frosting shade has more pink undertones and I think it'll match your skin better. A little bit goes a long way, so if you're pale, start with a small amount. It is buildable, so you can keep adding to get the coverage/color that you desire. Enjoy!

If you're seeking a face bronzer, we recommend Laura Geller Beauty Baked Sculpting Bronzer, which can be applied to bare skin or over your foundation:

While Laura Geller Beauty Baked Body Frosting is not sweat-proof, it does feature a color transfer-resistant formula.

This product is intended for use on the body. For medium skin tones and darker seeking a bronzing effect, we'd recommend Tahitian Glow (Item #:2235700). You could also use lighter shade Honey Glow (Item #:2218586) to add a subtler sun-kissed shimmer.

For a face bronzer, we'd recommend Laura Geller Baked Sculpting Bronzer in shade Medium/Tan (Item #:2265248). This product includes a dual-ended applicator brush for perfect application for bronzing and/or facial contouring:

It features three tones - bronzer, highlighter, and contour - all with neutral undertones that never appear orange or muddy.

What color is darker? Honey or tahitian? I have medium skin. The photo of the honey looks darker but some say tahitian is. I don't live near any ulta, so i can't go try it on.

Tahitian Glow is deeper than Honey Glow.
