Originally a salesperson had recommended this eyeliner. I've used it for about 1 year and absolutely love it. I have tried two colors; a black-gray (Ulta's server will not let me name the exact shade, considers the word to be profanity)which is my favorite and Black Violet. I use the black-gray eyeliner everyday. I use eyeshadows each day (nudes, browns, and a dark blue). This eyeliner works well with all of them. My day starts early and this eyeliner will last all day long. You don't need to refresh it when going out. I use a name brand eye makeup remover and it comes easily. The only drawback would be the built in sharpener. It seems to remove too much of the pencil. I would recommend the little green pencil sharpener from another name brand cosmetic company. This is the best sharpener I have ever used and is quite inexpensive. Hopefully Smashbox will consider redesigning the sharpener. It is convenient to have it attached to the pencil.

I don't wear a lot of make up but eyeliner is my "go to". I was hoping it'd last a little longer without smudging than it did. But it is pretty good. Better than most other brands I have tried.

Good value because it comes with its own sharpener. It is subtle and easy to apply as a thin line. However it is difficult to remove from the base of my eyelashes.

I usually use UD and this was probably just as good. Bonus: it comes with it's own sharpener. Easy to apply and long wearing.
