Glides on easily. I can either apply with he3avy hand or light for day or night. Still applies flawlessly with my shaky hands. Black Violet is a beautiful color for blue green eyes.

This didn't last as long as I would have liked. It smudged in the outer corners of my lower eyelids. I had a sample in black from Smashbox that I liked, so I thought I would try a different color. Did not work.

I started out with thick liner ( more than I would want it)but it fades away a some time little bit but this product has staying power throughout the day so at the end of the day I still have some liner there.

Originally a salesperson had recommended this eyeliner. I've used it for about 1 year and absolutely love it. I have tried two colors; a black-gray (Ulta's server will not let me name the exact shade, considers the word to be profanity)which is my favorite and Black Violet. I use the black-gray eyeliner everyday. I use eyeshadows each day (nudes, browns, and a dark blue). This eyeliner works well with all of them. My day starts early and this eyeliner will last all day long. You don't need to refresh it when going out. I use a name brand eye makeup remover and it comes easily. The only drawback would be the built in sharpener. It seems to remove too much of the pencil. I would recommend the little green pencil sharpener from another name brand cosmetic company. This is the best sharpener I have ever used and is quite inexpensive. Hopefully Smashbox will consider redesigning the sharpener. It is convenient to have it attached to the pencil.
