I needed a comb to use while straighening my hair that would not cause static. This does the trick. I also use it to tease and it works great for that also.

I bought this online at Ulta for 1.86dollars, it was on sale. The brush handle says: ULTA IONIC #89805. I've actually been thinking of buying this for a while now.

When I received this in the mail, this comb came with a plastic to protect the item. Both the bristles (on both ends) are made of plastic. The entire thing is colored black.

{ABOUT THE BRISTLES}
The bristles feel a little rough on my fingers. Like one reviewer said: this comb has PLASTIC picks on one end, which means it's considered "safe" for travel; unlike the teasing comb with the METAL teeth on one end, which are considered "dangerous" (lol that's ridiculous!!).

Before purchasing this, I already had a similar teasing brush, that had METAL picks on one end…I purchased it not at ulta, I purchased the metal one, at another store.

One of the reasons I bought this is: b/c a reviewer on here, mentioned that the metal version is not allowed for travel…I plan on bringing this comb when I travel. I'm glad I read that person's review, or else I would've mad the mistake of bringing it and having the TSA airport people confiscate and throw it!!!

I was hoping to use the product to give my hair some lift at the roots.....didn't really work any better than the pic I was using before.
