Normally I don't like to right negative reviews but I have to say that I am not at all fond of this product. It has a very strong lemongrass/cleaning product smell to it. It also makes my hair feel dirtier than when I started washing it. I am very disappointed because I like everything else from Ulta. I bought this to protect my hair color and highlights (which were done in an Ulta salon). It is definitely not for every day use. Unless you have extremely dry hair.

Nice cooling sensation on scalp, very gentle and easy to use. My haircolor did not fade at all and my hair did not feel dry after repeated use.

I purchased this because I read a great review from Paula Begoun about this product, that it rivaled a professional brand for 1/3 the price. So I used a one point reward (best thing you can get with one point) and bought this shampoo. It lathers well, cleans well, and seems to be gentle, as it does not contain sulfites. I have color treated hair so I'm careful about what I use. While I think the performance of this shampoo is wonderful, I will say that I'm disappointed with the smell. It has a distinct peppermint scent which always makes me think that scent is only for foot pedicure products. Thus the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I got this with bonus points. So glad I tried it! If you are looking for lots of suds, this isn't for you. But it does clean well with a gentle lather that is easy to rinse out. After I ran out, I bought the name brand since I was at the grocery store. Big mistake! I had to use twice as much and it never seemed to get my hair clean. People have commented on how they like my hair color. The only thing I've changed is the shampoo/conditioner.

I bought this as I read it was a dupe for Pureology Perfect Platinum shampoo. I am not Platinum, but do color my hair so I was curious. I love this shampoo! Smells faintly like rosemary mint. It leaves my wavy (frizzy) color treated medium brown hair soft but not weighed down. I have been using this in conjunction with a Fekkai conditioner. Really lovely.
