I use this spray after I have styled my hair and am ready to go. If I am restyling, simply blow drying dry hair with old product in it, I use it again when I'm ready to go. It is a wonderful finishing spray, does not build up, holds, and gives me the natural look as if I do not use spray.

Sometimes I use just a shine oil and spray and other days I cocktail 4 Alterna products then use the spray and both ways it works great. I get a few hours of hold from it and I feel that it is effective.
