Wish designer of hair tool would engineer a good chord storage. There is no easy way to store chord. Has a lid that attached. Which is a good and bad thing. Even though it like your moms set (as says in advertisement) it made with very cheap material like all things modern. The clips are not actually metal but made out the a same stuff that the disposable plastic fork that are made to look foe silverware... But you are paying less than $20.oo so just letting you know why so cheap.

    Comments about Conair Compact Hairsetter:

I bought this hot roller set with high hopes, after reading reviews on multiple websites. Putting them in a set was easy and the rollers weren't too hard to handle. I was apprehensive about the metal clips but they were great and held the rollers in place. I really enjoyed using these rollers!

The only thing is: they don't work!! I don't know if it's something I'm doing wrong, but I would leave the rollers in for an hour, the curls looked amazing after I took them out, but within a half hour the curls would be GONE. The second time I used them, I even blasted the set with a hairdryer twice. The curls were tighter when I took them out, and I sprayed like crazy with hairspray. Same result! By the time I got to work (45 minutes later) it looked like I had spent absolutely no time on my hair. What a disappointment!

I like the convenience and portability of the product. I've been using this set for years and referred it to my mom who has a set, as well. The only thing that needs care is the plastic lid. It can break when transporting it about. I will say it has been a great product, which is why I am a returning customer.

Love these. This is the classic set of plastic rollers - simple and effective. Just like mom's old never-fail set but way cuter. Not too hot to handle and works great. My hair has amazing body, volume, and beautiful curls - and it is naturally stick straight, long, and thick. Even with so much hair it takes only 15 minutes or so to put it all up in these, then I can do makeup or whatever else.

My old hot rollers finally gave out. Had them for over 20 years. A friend told me about these. Her hair always looks nice so I ordered the set. Couldn't be more happier. They heat up fast and the curls last all day!

                Comments about Conair Compact Hairsetter:

Bought a set when other brand stopped working. Loved it from day 1. Compact for storage at home and in suitcase. Heats up in the time I brush my teeth and cleanse my face. Was in Ulta one day and just happened to look and it was no longer on the shelf. My heart sank! So when I saw it back on the shelf recently I bought another one even though my current one works great. I just wanted a back up "just in case" and I wouldn't worry about finding another. It's tried and true. A winner for me!!!

Since I use a flat iron at 400° to strighted my hair, I have found some hot rollers to cool to curl my hair. While I don't expect the hot rollers to be THAT hot (I couldn't touch them). I'm just wondering if you think these would work for me. I only plan on using them on the top layer to create some long loose curls.

The smaller the diameter of the roller, the tighter the curl. Rollers will curl most hair types.

Hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp - never wet - when setting. Hair will not set correctly if too damp.
