I am a makeup artist that also does hair for photo shoots. I use this in my kit on location when I want a model's hair to have a soft curl or a loose almost fallen out curl. It heats up quickly & is easy to use. For the price it is a great tool.

My hair is thick, coarse, and my longest layer is almost down to my waist. I have to section my hair in 4 layers so that my curls are somewhat defined. Even with a curl-shaping cream, I still have a bit of frizziness. I prefer the second day look of my curls because I have to use such small sections to achieve any kind of smooth look.

I love this! Best hair tool I ever bought! Curling irons and rollers never give lasting curls on my thin, straight hair even if I use tons of hairspray. This on the other hand, gives me voluptuous, lasting curls. Yes, throughout the day, the curls become wavy but they're very pretty. I can curl my hair on a Monday and still have an effect on Wednesday. Totally awesome!

I was hesitant to buy Conair, because in the past I've found you get what you pay for when it comes to styling tools so I was willing to spend more for a higher end brand. The options at the store were very limited so I went with the Conair since it was the type of wand i wanted and I needed something for a wedding the next day. The wand heats up fast and my curls held all night, my hair looked the same at 2 am as it did when I curled it at noon! A friend asked me if I got my hair done professionally. Conair you win on this one!!

This wand does exactly what it's supposed to. Gets nice and hot, considering the affordable price. I like the thicker barrel because it gives a more natural "beach wave" look. It's an awesome product!!

I purchased this product for my 11 year old daughter. She loves it! It worked wonders for her baby fine hair and she was able to do it herself. Tip given to me by my wonderful Ulta lady, use the setting spray, it really helps the curl and to keep it.

I chose the smaller gauge of the curling iron because I like lots of smallish curls. This curling iron is AWESOME. It is exactly what I wanted and for a reasonable price. The curls hold all night without hair spray which is so cool. I can go from wavy/straight hair to being a curly haired girl in a few minutes.
I really love this curling iron. Easy to use and super effective.
