It's very light weight which comes in handy when you have thick hair and takes a few minutes to dry. My daughter's hair is long and sometimes the dryer will suck in small strands of her haif in the back vent.

I don't know why this dryer got so many bad reviews. First of all, unless you're decrepit, the dryer is not heavy. The buttons could have been better placed but as long as you're conscious of the placement and don't have pudgy, clumsy hands, the placement is definitely bearable. The dryer is kind of loud but most dryers are. The power on this product is amazing and so is the heat. Hot enough to get your hair dry in a decent amount of time but doesn't burn your hair or make it smell when you try to blow it out with a brush. If you have a smaller, lighter dryer, use that for travel; this one isn't bad but could be inconvenient for some.

I love bed head products but this hair dryer is not the one for me at all...contantly struggle with the on/off switch too easy to turn off when blow drying hair, the speeds are either too cool and takes forever to dry or your hair burns with the hot setting...not a good blow dryer for everyday use
