Although this boasts a shine-free face all day, I never experienced it. This was heavy, greasy, and my face was even shiner than it is when I use other moisturizers. Never again!

I can't decide how I feel about this product. I have pretty oily skin and it didn't mattify my skin at all like I had hoped and expected...definitely false advertising on the package. However, I have dry spots on my skin as well and I found that it helped to moisturize better than a Neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin that I have been using for years (I typically have to apply more to dry spots--even then it is still somewhat flaky) but this product moisturized extremely well. Not sure if I will be keeping it, but if I do I will be using it solely as a moisturizer and not as a mattifier before makeup--if you have oily skin I recommend Smashbox Photofinish Light primer...expensive but worth EVERY penny...only product that keeps my skin shine free! Unfortunately this did product did not work how I had hoped.

Aside from the smell, this is a great moisturizer. It is not as creamy as other moisturizers, which is fine because I like lightweight products. I use this with other Formula 10.0.6 products (which smell better) and it cleared up my breakouts. I will be using this for a while!

I read a lot of reviews about this making people skin more oily or just giving off a shiny finish itself. I thought this when I first tried it too. But I realized that since this is almost more of a gel than a cream, you only need a very very little bit of it or else it will be very shiny. When doing that it stays matte all day, even when I was sweating like a pig when I worked out. It makes skin really soft and even my super sensitive skin didn't get irritated from it. I couldn't be happier.

I use this product every morning and night when I wash my face, and I don't know if it's the moisturizer or if it's because it's winter so my skin isn't as oily, but it really does not add any oils to your face which I LOVE. I swear to you, I have the most oily skin EVER, but this seems to not add any and it does give a matte finish, but it doesn't like absorb your oil either. I really love it, and the smell isn't bad like other people have been saying. Will be repurchasing!

This is my regular face lotion! I have combination skin that turns to oily with any hint of humidity...When my skin gets oily I feel icky, and will sometimes breakout. To prevent breakout I need a lightweight moisturizer and this product is PERFECT!! It is lightweight and cheap and great! It softens and moisturizers but don't look for it to fill in wrinkles or even-out discolorations this is a simple and clean moisturizer. In the windy-winter I need extra moisturizer around my eyes but I just buy Cetaphil for my eyes and use this moisturizer over it...I will always use this product....
