Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:
I was looking for a something lightweight to even out my skin tone, and that's what I got. I considered buying a BB cream, but I tried samples of a couple of prestige brands, and they were too dark for me (I have extremely fair skin). This stuff evens out my blotchy complexion, but it doesn't completely wash out my natural coloring. I have dry skin with an oily T-zone, and this does an excellent job of controlling oil, but it doesn't dry out my dry spots. Note: I hate the brush that comes in the package and use a bareminerals face brush for even application.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:
I have rosacea, and don't like using liquid foundation, so I had been looking for a good powder concealer. I definitely found it in this correcting powder! It is super easy to apply. I use a sponge that's meant for liquid foundation (goes on smoothly and there is more coverage this way) and I twist it toward the green and yellow to cover up my rosacea. I have rosacea ALL OVER my face, and this does the trick! It makes me look a little too pale to wear it alone, but this is definitely a fantastic product.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:
I JUST bought this a few minutes ago haha. I have combination, acne prone skin with a teeny redness problem. I bought this in the hopes that it would take care of the redness and maybe hide any breakouts I might experience. IT'S GREAT!!!! I brushed some on when I got home and it instantly got rid of my redness. My skin tone evened out in the blink of an eye and my face doesn't feel oily. The fact that it's a primer too is great, in case if I ever want to put on foundation (I don't think I'll need to though). The only minor annoyance is that I swirled the brush in the powder and it got everywhere. I wasn't expecting it to be so messy but that's not a big deal at all.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Talc-Free Mineral Correcting Powder:
I have worn a loose, talc-free translucent powder for a long time. It apply it with a powder puff right from the sifter and press/buff to give a natural matte appearance, you cannot even see it. I have developed a bit of redness in my cheek area and I bought this mineral powder in the pressed form (for convenience to keep at work)as it too was also talc-free, but promised to neutralize redness. Well, it does cover up redness if you don't mind a layer of white chalk on your face. I tried applying it with the included brush but the powder is so heavy you play like heck getting it to feather out, it just wants to settle in a heavy glump on the first place the brush touches. I also tried applying with a powder puff but that was even worse. I am returning the product to Ulta because they guarantee satisfaction. I just cannot tolerate these mineral powders to wear alone, they are too heavy and I feel like my skin has been sealed and cannot breathe, then you start sweating and it settles into your pores and looks cakey and globby. One trick I have found does work for just a tad heavier coverage than plain loose translucent powder is to tap about 1 tsp of a close color-matched loose mineral powder (like Jane Iredale) right into your loose regular powder and then shake/mix it. A touch of the heavier mineral powder adds just a touch of extra coverage without the heavy feel.

I barely use make up during the week, i love a natural look for my everyday life in miami weather. i keep it in my bag and use it as a powder with a fluffy brush, and it makes the shine goes away and covers light blemishes.
if you want medium of full coverage this is not for you.
