Comments about Japonesque Travel Stippling Brush:

This is a nice brush of this sort. The hairs are soft, and it is easy to hold in the hand. You can stipple foundation onto your face with the brush then buff it into the skin. Or...you can apply your foundation with your fingers and then use the brush to buff the foundation nicely into the skin. I like that this brush is a travel version with a shorter handle than most, yet not too short.

I've used the Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser to initially clean it, and then the Japonesque spray cleaner for daily spot cleaning. (I'll wet clean it 1x wkly or so, depending on usage.) The Japonesque Solid Brush Cleanser helps to condition natural hairs nicely, and I think that is important for a brush with duo-fibre/natural-synthetic brush heads used for liquid or cream products, as the natural hairs can get dried out.

Comments about Japonesque Travel Stippling Brush:

I have had a few hairs shed when using this brush but I have that with expensive high end brushes.(most of my brushes have cost at least double the amount)
I like this because of it's versatility. I use it for applying foundation, or just stippling after applying it with one of my other brushes or my fingers. I have also used it to apply a light coating of powder. It has been easy to clean with just soap, but I recently bought the Japonesque brush cleaner and that is the best. It cleans this brush, my other brushes and even my sponges.

        Good purchase

Comments about Japonesque Travel Stippling Brush:

Ive had this brush for almost 4 years now and it is still in perfect condition. I use and wash it every single day and it has never shed. It leaves a satin finish no matter what foundation I use which looks amazing. Def think its worth the price.

Returned it after one week. Was using it with liquid foundation and I found that it shed while I used it, leaving black hairs on my face. Not a good look!

Very disappointed with this brush... For the price I paid, I was expecting a better brush. It sheds terribly and is difficult to clean. It just did not apply my liquid foundation as well as other less expensive stippling brushes that I have purchased from Ulta. Will either return it or toss it. Even my daughter doesn't want it!!

I don't expect an expensive brush to shed. I only began using it and it has not been cleaned yet. Makes me nervous.

Comments about Japonesque Travel Stippling Brush:

I have used this brush for a year to apply my liquid foundation and it works very well. It blends my makeup flawlessly. This brush does shed, but I don't have a problem with shedding because over time all brushes shed. As for the previous comments about the foundation staining the brush I also noticed that, but I was able to finally find a way to wash the brush so that the bristles are white again. I use a makeup removing cleanser, antibacterial hand soap, and a small amount of extra virgin olive oil to clean this brush and It cleans the brush effectively and conditions it so it remains soft. So if you take care of this brush properly it will last you just as long as I have had it. Hope this helps (:

Comments about Japonesque Travel Stippling Brush:

I really needed a stippling brush and I bought this not-so-cheap one. The first time I use it it started shedding. Really badly. Like a black cat would shed on white sheets. Lord have mercy. I wish I could say better but it doesn't blend into my skin well and the shedding. I had to throw it out. :(
