I use the product about once a week for a great all around tan. It has the least offensive odor and applies very evenly. I use it both summer and winter as I have had some melanoma removed and it is dangerous for me to be in the sun.

This product isn't really what I expected- I found it at Ulta the other night and since it was on sale, decided to give a try. It's more of a lotion than a self-tanner, however. I would almost compare it to Jergen's Natural Glow or another gradual self-tanner than typical self-tanners. I'll probably continue using it just because it is light-weight and doesn't smell terrible. I might mix it with my own lotion instead.

I've gone through countless bottles of various tanning lotions and this is the one I keep coming back to. It does take a while to dry, but once it does It gives a nice, easy to apply, natural looking tan. Just make sure you buy the right color for your skin tone, because it does develop much darker than you would expect it to. I mix it with a regular moisturizer to keep it from streaking and becoming to dark. Overall great buy! Try it out for yourself!!

I read all the great reviews on this so I was excited to try it. I showered, exfoliated, moisturized, rubbed this product in very well, wiped away excess on my knees and elbows. let dry for 15-20 mins, put my pj's on and went to bed.
woke up with orange streaky legs and orange feet!
the rest of me was fine. not sure why my legs streaked... and it only lasted a day. I did this 3 days ago and colour is completely gone. nervous to try again!!
Also the lotion smelled fine but in the morning it had that nasty self tanner smell that I showered off gently.

With 2 applications I can wear my skirt or dress without panty hose.

This product is better and a faster way to get tan without sunbathing all day. Ive used tanning products before but this one actual moisturizes my skin at the same time. It can be a little greasy if you use too much, but i don't mind a little more oil to help hydrate. As with any tanning cream wash your hands after applying or you'll regret it.

I've purchased this self tanner over and over because it goes on easily, dries quickly and doesn't leave a fake looking color. Also like that it doesn't have a weird smell like some that I've tried. At the same time it moisturizes. I have only used this on my legs, torso. I don't think it's a good one for face and my arms usually get tan on their own from the real sunshine.

This is the best self tanner I have ever used. Goes on very smooth,easy to rub in and I have never gotten streaks. It has a slight odor but nowhere near as strong as most others I've used. I am extremely pale and I use the MEDIUM DARK and never look orange

I am avoiding the expensive self-tanner and the store rep said this was a good product. I am very pleased with the tan effect using the MEDIUM DARK. I apply lightly two days in a row and then skip a day. It is very moisturizing - more than the Ulta. I had to switch in 2012 when the Ulta product (gel) no longer gave a tan effect for my pale skin.
Helps if I exfoliate before applying Hawaiian Tropic to avoid dark spots from multi applications. No scent, or slight scent after heavy application. Does look yellow/fake in sunlight when a heavy applcation is done. Tan always looks good in indoor lighting. Does not show you where you applied the product so you have to "feel" for an even application.

The product does not have much of a scent, but that can be a plus since most self tanners have a bad scent. It takes a little time to fully absorb and gets a little greasy feeling if you work out a few hours after application. The tan it produces is great and lasts for days.
