When my flat iron died (gasp!) my hairstylist recommended BaByliss. It was expensive but I bought it anyway. I would totally buy it again. I love it. I don't use it on the hottest setting and it still works great. Due to the placement of the buttons sometimes I accidentally turn it off but it doesn't take long to heat up. I even recommended it to a girl looking at it in an Ulta store. If you have thick, frizzy, curly (read = nappy) hair then you should definitely invest in this.

This product gets very hot and you just have to use it on a setting that is good for your hair type. I love it.

I bought this product after reviewing it quite a bit on many different websites and hair forums. Upon walking into Ulta I asked a stylist which flat iron she preferred and she let me to the BabyLiss and that's when I made my choice. I didn't know anyone personally with one, nor do any stylists I know use one so basically besides reviews I took a chance and bought this products without knowing how it worked. I'm glad I did because I love it.

I used to swear by Chi and tried a nano babyliss a friend bought and now I will never use anything else. It takes half the time to straighten my hair!!! I have thick hair where I can blow dry semi straight or defuse with mouse to make curly. This adds shine although I still use a heat protectant with it.

I have naturally curly hair, but straighten my hair every day. After using another brand (C-H-I)only to have my irons keep dying within a few months, I made the switch to the Babyliss at the recommendation of my hair stylist.

I love the heavy dutiness of this iron. The multiple heat settings are great because I can use lower heat when I just need a touch up.

My only negative thought on this product is the placement of the power & heat setting buttons. I seem to accidentally press them when using the iron, and I sometimes turn it off because of this.

Overall, this is a GREAT straightening iron, and I would highly recommend it.
