I used the product after I had applied a glitter topcoat. It left a neat looking nail. Before I bought this product I thought that my nails would be bumpy or scratchy after applying. But they were very smooth. Bottom line is that it's nice to change up a nail color

I love the matte top coat polish! I bought it in a two pack with the grey nail polish and I got so many compliments. When I was buying it, the girl at the counter told me that it chips easily. I found that after 3 days, it's chipping at the tips of my fingernails. This really doesn't bother me though, easy enough to re-do because the look is worth it.

I love this stuff! I wanted to try the matte look, but I could never find the right shade. I tried this with Essie's nail polish in Mambo (335), and it looks great! Mambo matches my skintone perfectly, and adding the matte finish makes my nails blend in really well! It's fantastic. The only thing about it is that, just like all other matte polishes, the matte finish will not last as long as the usual glossy nail finish. Instead of one coat lasting a week, the matte finish might only last two days. You can just reapply the matte finish, and all is well. Still, it's worth noting that the two-day average is just a part of all matte finishes, for the most part.

As with any Essie product, this delivers and provides an unusual but classic look. Works well w/ medium to dark colors. Especially nice with tones in the nude to brown range.

This product seemed like a gift from the style gods when I found it--a way to double my nail polish collection and try out the matte trend all in one! The product is great, because it can go over any nail polish you currently own and love, so you don't have to go out and buy matte polish that you may not like. It goes on smoothly, leaves a great finish, and dries quickly. HOWEVER, I have noticed that barely 24 hours goes by and I can see a distinct shine to my nails. It definitely wears off quickly. You can apply another coat as this happens, but I feel like that's wasteful of the product. I've never had a topcoat that needed to be reapplied every day just to keep my nails looking the way I want them to.
It's worth a shot if you want to try the product, but keep in mind that you may need to reapply frequently in order to keep the matte look.

This product is great! The matte nail trend can be done with any color polish that you already have. It dries quickly to a nice matte finish. After about 2 days the finsh is not as flat, but just add another coat. I love this!
