One application done exactly as described in instructions. The second day I woke up and my cuticles were very red, irritated and cracked. My nails were in much worse condition than before I put this stuff on: all broke off, actually so soft I couldn't even them up using a very fine soft block, had to use baby nail scissors. Really sorry I even tried it. Still having problems 2 weeks later, what a nightmare.

I was looking for a new nail treatment to replace my Sally Hansen one I'd been using for the last few years but which had been repackaged/discontinued(?) and a few other drug store alternatives that I tried weren't really working. So my nails were getting pretty weak, breaking and chipping. Sales associate recommended this to me and I've been very happy. I use it in combination with Mavala's Scientifique Nail Hardener and the results have been great. The bottle is very small and it's pricey but I personally prefer to spend the money on something that actually works rather than cheap stuff that do not. Make sure you choose the right formula for your needs, i.e. you do not want to overfeed your nails with protein. These Nailtiques formulas are very potent, so if you just need regular maintenance I suggest Formula 1, whereas Formula 2 is for nails that need a little extra strength. Once I finish my bottle I plan on using Formula 1. This is a very potent formula and it works great!

I have always had weak nails and a tendency to bite off the rest when one broke.

I used this religiously for a week and immediately noticed the difference. It is easy to use, dries quicker than top coat, and DOES make a difference.

I have never had stronger nails then I do now and I am well into my 40's.

I can tell when I slack off and don't use it for a couple of days.
