I used to style my hair with a curling iron. This gives much more consistent results and takes less time in the morning. I have thick hair and let it dry overnight, then style my dry hair in the morning. Perfect for this!

My hair kept getting tangled in the brush part of the iron. Using smaller amounts of hair and brushing it beforehand didn't seem to help. My hair had no more body or volume than before. Better to stick with a straightener.

OK, so i have very curly, dry, course, frizzy hair. For years I have pretty much wore my hair curly, but back in a head band or pony tail every day. I have tried to straighten it with a flat iron, but it would end up looking like straw, so i gave up trying to straighen it. My boss recommended the instyler. She picked it up one day to try on her daughter's hair and really liked it. Knowing her hair type and viewing many videos and reviews, i thought i would try it. OMG - It is a Miracle!!! For the first time in my life, i have straight hair that looks healthy, shiny, bouncy and beautiful. I have received so many comments on how great it looks. I did as directed and just shampoo and conditioned my hair. No leave in conditioner, but did put a nickel size drop of argan oil in before i let it air dry. Once dry, i went at it. I did use a heat protectant. It did take me a long time the first time using, but i am a novice at straighening my hair. Hoping it will go faster as i get used to it. It was very easy to use and the results were amazing. I can't believe this actually worked on my hair. This is a styling tool i will not live without!!!

I have thick curly hair. I bought this after watching an infomercial and beig drawn to the claims that said it didnt damage, faster, smooth hair in minutes, effective, and easy. It was none of this. I have found traditional flat irons much faster and easier. Although i dont notice much damege, it takes twice as long and doesn't last. Also because of the shape it is difficult to get the hairs close to you head. WAY OVERPRICED FOR WHAT IT IS.
