I was skeptical when I saw this in the store. Having crazy, curly hair I have tried a lot of shower caps. They never totally keep the water out. It always manages to creep in, even if you are careful. This cap is the exception! It really locks out the water and steam. It has a terry cloth liner that helps keep the cap dry inside. It is very comfortable also. Very well made. The plastic is soft but sturdy. My curls are total protected and not wilted at all. It really does work!

If you take a short shower and put this over your ears you will get out with dry hair. It really works. It has a tight fit so if you have an extra large head ( you know who you are!) this will be very tight for you. Normal to small head will love it!
I can see though if you took a super long shower it would soak through to your hair. It worked for me to keep my just blown hair dry in the shower.
It is well made and really works.

I really like this for keeping my hair from frizzing in the shower but originally bought it for mine and my daughters deep hair treatments. For this it is very uncomfortable because you have to leave it on for 10-20 minutes, it is so tight it hurts your head. I know it cannot be that it is too small for my daughter has a very little head! Other than this issue it is a very good product.

I just replaced the elastic in the cap I bought last November; so it lasted 9 months. The elastic is what gave out on the last one, too. The quality isn't as good as the original one I bought. I am the only one who uses this cap and I think it should have lasted longer than 9 months. If you are considering buying this cap, I would say, "Save your money and buy something else." Very disappointing...
