I was actually browsing for a new mineral foundation but was drafted by a sales girl to "try something way better." I was hesitant at first but went along with her suggestion and she introduced me to the Cargo line. I would never have thought to try the mattifier but it took away the shine I normally have and created a very flawless finish with the Onebase Concealer and Blu Ray powder. The mattifier makes your skin feel silky and it has a slight tint to it to give a little base color. Overall I was ecstatic with finding a new foundation/base look that I love and better than what I was orginally looking for. I would have never tried it if it weren't for the persuasion of the sales girl.

I have relentlessly shiny skin and this actually gets me to a point where highlighters and shimmery blushes become relevant products. It took me a few tries to really figure out how to best use it on my skin since I thought it would be more of a primer and it's not (on me). It doesn't do anything to minimize pores or smooth my foundation, but it keeps the shine away for a few hours, which is an accomplishment on my skin.
