I have used Olay for years, and I have not had any complaints with Olay products except for this one. The product uses three metal roller balls to apply the products around the eyes. I am allergic to nickel found in cheap costume jewelry. On the first day when I used the product, at the end of the day, I notice that underneath my eyes where a little tender. I did not give it much thought. So, I used it again the next day, and my eyes where really swollen and red bumps had appeared. It was the same allergic reaction I receive when I wear jewelry made of nickel. I realized that it was the product because that was the only thing that I applied underneath my eyes. I went to the doctor, and the doctor told me to stop using the product (no brainer), take an oral anti-histamine, give it time, and it will clear up. It took a week and a half for my eyes to look normal again.

I have been having allergy problems for the last year or so and I have noticed that under my eyes are puffy every day! I was really skeptical about this working when I bought it & debated between several different brands & products. Every morning, before I apply my normal moisturizer I use this. I use only one click and I rub it underneath my eye (from nose to outside corner of eye) for the 30 seconds it indicates in a circular motion. I tend to concentrate a little longer where they are the most puffy. I then use my finger to lightly rub in the remaining residue that is left on my skin, then proceed with my normal moisturizer and foundation. I can immediately see an improvement, plus it literally makes my eyes not feel so puffy (& in result watery). I have had no negative issues with this product & I loce the visible improvements and the way it feels. Obviously you don't want to get it actually IN your eye, I'm sure then you would have issues but if you can apply eye makeup then you should be able to use this and not manage to get it IN your eye. I'm not sure if it is actually the cream, or the rollers (possibly just disburses fluid buildup maybe??) or the combination of both that improves the puffiness under my eyes but whatever it is, it works for me! In my opinion, this is definitely worth the money!!

It left my eyes red and irritated. I looked like I had been crying! I tried it again and rolled a little away from my eye, but that didn't really get the area I had wanted to reduce the puffiness, which was right around the corner of my eye. It feels nice going on, but after a few moments my eyes felt irritated. I was very disappointed. I used it for about 3 days but because I was afraid of getting it too close to my eye, it didn't help.

I've been using this product for over a year now & it is the best I've found so far for puffy eyes. I have sinus issues so my eyes frequently puff up & the roller seems to diminish the puffiness. The lotion is light but provides enough moisture for even application of concealer but not too much to cause my mascara to run. It's a winner for me!
