The first step in the shower is lathering my hair...giving it time to work while I proceed with my shower. The scent is very clean and citrusy. When I rinse, I do notice a different texture to my hair. This is a very welcome change. No need to condition..even though I have a permanent, my hair is soft and manageable..not tangled and dry.

Great shampoo! Used it with the color conditioner & both left my hair super shiny & soft. The only trade-off is that the hair is so soft & shiny that it has a tendency to slip out of the ponytail holder when it's pulled back. For me, the shine outweighs the slippage.
