Love this. Love that this one product controls oil, has SPF and hydrates. Im 50 and still have oily skin, but still need hydration and protection. This does it all during the day.

There are very few mattifiers out there that actually work. And to find one that has SPF that doesn't feel oily is even harder! But DDF definitely got the formula right. Sun protection is so important if you're trying to prevent acne scars from acne that is healing. This moisturizer immediately feels matte when you apply it and provides great sun protection for hours. But like any mattifier, it doesn't last all day. So if you can reapply, you should do it after 5-6 hours. But even without reapplication, the product performs better than most others.

It's difficult to find moisturizers with SPF that aren't greasy or oily just by nature of the fact that SPF tends to be greasy. However, this DDF mattifier is the first product I've used that actually DOES control oil for several hours and still provides sun protection. It's absolutely perfect for oily or acne prone skin. Though it's a bit pricey for the amount in the tube, it might actually be worth it for some people.

I love DDF, I normally use the Ultra-Lite Dew with SPF 15, however, they were out. So I tried this moisturizer. I do have problems with acne so I thought having an oil-mattifying factor to my moisturizer would be nice. However, I do not see any difference in the "shinny" factor. My face still gets that oily look...I have tried other mattifying lotions that work better BUT I love DDF, so I am sticking with this line. This is the first line that has helped reduce the look of my acne scars and reduce my pimples. However, I am going back to the Ultra-Lite Dew SPF 15 once it's back in stock at my local store!

I enjoy the sunscreen smell of this lotion. It mattify's my oily skin better than anything else I have tried, but I still have to blot my face once during the day. I feel it works best when used alone -- no additional moisturizer and no primer on top. Just apply make-up on top!

I'm not sure about the other reviewer, but I am very pleased with this product. I received a sample of this from another store after they stopped carrying my regular oil control lotion. I was very disappointed because the other lotion was all I had found that helped control the oiliness on my face. Without this lotion, by the end of the day my makeup used to all but disappear! I'm pleased to say that this product seems to do an even better job than the other product. Cosmedicine's lotion was so thick and extremely hard to apply, and at first this lotion seems to be that way, but it goes on so smoothly! Another plus, it smells like suntan lotion. Mmm, reminds me of summer :) It is now 2:00 in the afternoon and my face is as oil-free as it was when I put my make-up on this morning! Not to mention the fact that my job requires me to go outside intermittently into the Texas humidity to work. I highly recommend this to anyone who suffers with disappearing make-up because of oily skin. I love it!

I have very oily skin and my makeup never stays on. I tried this thinking that because it was a more expensive product and the name states that it is to CONTROL OIL (instead of most products which are just oil free) that this would work. It was thick, greasy, and oily, and added oil to my skin. It was just like putting an oily sunscreen on my face before applying makeup. I already returned it and would NEVER recommend it and would never waste my money on this product again. I was better off wearing nothing.
