I have mid-back length, colored & highlighted hair, naturally gray, very course in areas and tough to tame and if let go natural looks like I have a perm. I previously used an expensive highly recommended flat iron that just quit working and I needed a replacement with 1" wide ceramic plates, adjustable temperature, easy to hold (have small hands), and good reviews. This iron was very inexpensive for the high quality.

This product has overall been pretty good to me. I have used it most days to straighten my hair, but it also works pretty well to curl it as well. My only real problem with the product is that it stopped working after less than a year. As I was attempting to get ready this morning and was halfway through curling my hair, it completely stopped working. I tried to plug it into different outlets but had no luck.
I had a CHI before this and although I had it for 4 years, it also just abruptly stopped working one day... so perhaps they all just wear out at some point but I wish this had lasted longer.

I use this product to curl my hair and it works really great. I almost went with the more expensive hot tools straightener that I had before (but broke) but I decided to try this one out and I'm really glad I did because it's just as useful.

I got this and i love it it heats up pretty fast and straightens really well its definatly a step up from my other straightener and i just hope it last a while because i straighten my hair everyday sometimes even twice a day

This iron is O.K. My main complaint is that it does not close very tightly and hair just slips out. I like the baybliss irons a lot better.
