Bought it for the "brass free" because it said it eliminates those red and orange hues.......my hair still ends up picking up red and orange hues but not as bad as the non-brass free versions. It is not good for covering gray. By the 1st wash my gray was showing through already and I am only about 10% gray. Time to switch to a permanent hair color for gray coverage. The product is easy to use and leaves your hair soft and healthy feeling - just not a good option for covering gray.

Absolutely looks the best. I use it to cover my grays. It looks exactly like my natural highlights. My hair is dark brown, but 6C (Light Brown) matches. It blends so perfectly, it's impossible to tell where my own color ends and the Brass-Free begins. Disappointed that it needs another application after 3 weeks even when not overwashing and using the correct products. The conditioner is fabulous and should be sold separately as well. Good stuff!

I had a mishap at the salon...roots were bright red and rest of hair faded out to blonde. It looked awful but I had no time to sit in a chair for 2 hours to get it fixed. Lena helped me select a good color to blend and suggested how to use it to make my hair look more natural. Said it was gentle and since it was no brass the red should be toned down. She was right! Looks soooooo much better!

OK, we buy their hair color because it says BRASS FREE, right? Well, this product did not take the brassiness out of my hair as it claims. I actually think my hair is redder than before I used it! I would NOT recommend this product to anyone!

I left the product on the full 15min...was a little darker than I wanted, but after about 5 washings, was better. No brassiness...I like lighter hair, but seems it gets 'brassy' colored; I was told that I needed to go up to the next color to rid of the brassiness; or have color you want done professionally, then use box in between...
