Comments about University Medical AcneFree Sensitive Skin System:

Overall, I think this product is wonderful and I have tried EVERYTHING - and I am serious. I have done Proactiv, Clearasil, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena, Clinique, even a different version of Acne Free, as well as going to a dermatologist for prescriptions.

Before I go any further on what I've tried and how they have failed me, I can tell you that my skin is oily to combination oily. I would never have anything severe or even too bad - mostly just little blemishes here and there (especially if I touched my face) and scattered white heads on my forehead. Back to how I have done everything to combat the oily skin/whiteheads/small blemishes, I eventually got a prescription for Retin-A and Benzaclin, both strong benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid acne treatments. Great! It wasn't until the healthcare change that my healthcare stopped covering the medications (even the generics) and wanted (no joke) around $700 for one, not even both! I had to find something different.

Alas, a year later I stumbled upon Acne Free Sensitive. I have the issue where things will be going great with my skin and then, BAM, I used too much product (benzoyl peroxide/salicylic acid) and my skin dries out severely in those areas and even tends to peel. Read the directions on this - "start slowly with acne treatment/moisturizer" - so I did. And I'm not joking, it has been just over a week and a half and my skin feels so much better than it had been for the past few months. My oil isn't incredibly gone, but that's because I do put a lightweight moisturizer on after the treatment because I was feeling a little drier than normal which made me cautious.

That being said, follow the directions and if your skin is similar to mine, it should do very, very well. Especially at about $20 which you really cannot beat. However, the only thing I wish is that this kit came with a lightweight moisturizer without medication in it - just something light to provide a little bit extra to counter the drying effect of the acne treatment. But I love this and hope it continues to show me great results!

Comments about University Medical AcneFree Sensitive Skin System:

I use this product to clean my acne prone face daily.

The only good thing about this product and that works for ME is the cleanser because it cleans my face in an average way without irritating my skin.

Things that are not so great are the toner and the spot treatment. I used toners in the past and decided to stop because they just make my face more oily and start breaking up with whiteheads. Therefore, after a while of not using a toner, I decided to try AcneFree Sensitive skin toner. Unfortunately, it did not work on my skin the way I wish it did. I got whiteheads on my face, lots on my chin and nose area, plus it made my face even more oily.
The spot treatment is the worst! It burned my face and it is very painful. At first, I gave it the benefit of the the doubt by being consistent and trying it on everyday or every other day in the evenings for about 2 weeks. It burned and peeled my skin that every time I looked at it, I get scare and realized it was not worth it at all.

Overall, the cleanser is just okay. I was expecting more out of this product and less pain. Now, I am just using the cleanser and the toner and spot treatment are just there staring at me! I wont use those anymore. And maybe is just my skin. The only way to know if it works for you, is to try it out! Good luck!

Great product/ i have used proactiv in the past, but it made my skin worse over time. This keeps it looking great. I also moisturize with coconut oil and it works so well. Im cocerned about anti aging and this has been a perfect combo.

So I really love the cleanser and the toner. My skin reacts to EVERYTHING but it's fine with these products. I will say that the acne lotion you REALLY need to let your skin get used to it (like the directions say).

You will want to use a separate moisturizer with this set. I use it twice a day and have seen a drastic improvement with my skin.

I used to product to tackle an unexpected moderate adult acne breakout. I saw improvement in less then 24 hours, with increasing improvement in each days use. Now I use the product just once a day to prevent future breakouts from occurring.

Follow the directions when using this. They instruct you on getting your skin acquainted with the products gradually to prevent irritation and dryness.

Comments about University Medical AcneFree Sensitive Skin System:

I've used this product for about 3 weeks now and I've noticed a significant difference in my skin; it's never been this clear! I use the products in the morning and night, using the final step every other day as a spot treatment. This product is great! Overnight I saw a difference. However, since this has strong chemicals, it can be very drying to the skin. I've started moisturizing about 3 times a day now with Neutrogena's Oil Free Moisture and that seems to do the trick. Also, in the first week of using it I experienced some redness and irritation, but it faded fast. I think my skin was getting used to the product.
Overall, this is great! Please try!

I have sensitive skin and have tried many products. This one works very well so far. Don't get excited about the 24hr hype. It takes about a week to really notice any significant changes to your skin.
