First - the reviews posted here that say these exfoliating towels have color are wrong. These are only exfoliating/buffing/moisturizing towels. I ended up with these because the sales clerk at the store (different store - not at Ulta) told me these were the "tan towels" with the tanner in it. They are not. I kept them anyway since I didn't want to use sugar scrub before using the actual Tan Towels (which i did buy at Ulta later). They are a bit rough on first use. I ended up having to apply very light pressure and they hurt on some areas of my legs and arms. i wouldn't use it on any other areas of the body. BUT they did work well. My legs were smooth and shiny, my knees and elbows felt much better. I would say they're probably good for feet too but I didn't try it. I would use them again, but not daily.

I am a natural red head, very pale, and lots of freakles.I have tried so many self tanners, cheap and expensive. I've also done tanning beds, and spray tans at the salon. I dont tan at all in the sun. This product is pretty close to perfect. Fast and easy to apply, scent is not bad at all especially compared to most others, gives a really nice even color. Dont be thrown off by not being able to see color right away, it still develops evenly. Dries really fast too, doesnt leave skin sticky at all. Even my husband says this looks better and more natural than when I get a mistic tan at the salon.

The product in the towels is clear. It would be better add a color tint to the product as it is delivered so we can see the distribution. It goes on clear and there is no way to gauge application. You dont know you messed up until the tan shows (about 2 hours). The tan looked very pretty, but is hardly worth the bother.

Also,there is hardly enough product to last for 2 tanning sessions. They are skimpy on the product, and I have to use at least 4 or 5 towels just to go from top to bottom.

I was very excited to try this product, but excitement turned to dispair as I used the towels for the first time and quickly realized that a) they smell TERRIBLE b) I couldn't see where the product was being placed and where I missed spots and c) the towels don't hold enough "stuff" to cover my body from head to toe. Dispair turned to anger as the color developed into a dreaded orange-yellow shade that us self-tanners try to avoid at all costs. Don't waste your money with this product.
