This is Ulta's version of the brand name 'Maui Babe Browning Lotion'. I actually like this product better than the name brand. The smell is less strong, it moisturizes better and it applies smoother than the name brand. The results of the tanning are exactly the same. I do use this product in a tanning bed. Normally non-indoor lotions are not to be used in tanning beds because of the oils. The oil used for this product is not heavy and quickly absorbs into the skin if applied completely and even. Even though this product and the name brand looks like it's staining if it gets on fabric, because it's brown (from the coffee ingredients), it is non-staining. I do take a step further as a courtesy to the tanning salon employees and clean my own bed after use since there is a small amount of oil in the lotion.

The product is very good, a little heavy but easy to spread, it smells very good and it gives the skin a bronze tone instantly, I really liked it.

I've only used once and I bought to compare to product I purchased in Hawaii. Not the same, but I would not say it's a bad product.

Waste of $. I only bought this product b.c the store was out of MAUI BABE. When MB is restocked, I'm buying it. I wish I saved the receipt, so I could return it.

Store rep introduced it to me & for 4 years now I've been using it, I live for the beach & living in FL I get to the beach a lot!! The Browning lotion is THE BEST PRODUCT EVER!! I can get dark quick & it last long I put it over other spf products & it works so great, it smells so good, it rubs in w/o streaks it even makes ya look 10x darker while sitting there. Helpful tip i was give, i keep a little bottle of hand sanitizer in beach bag & use after each use just so i dont get any color on palms, it does wip off w/o it but it helps more. I just cant say enough positive things about it!!! #1 item I take with me!!! Hope it never gets discountinued!!!!

My legs are much harder to tan than my upper body, even with the expensive tan boosters. I tried this since it was cheap and it is amazing! After only an hour and a half in the sun I got more color on my legs then the three days before using other products. This is my new summer must have!!!!!!!!!

It goes on really easy and evenly. Even without sun it gives a great glow and smells great! I can't wait till its sunny out so I can see how it works in the sun. Even so I would use this product often.

I got this lotion because it was the cheaper alternative to Maui Babe, and smelled slightly better. I use it for indoor tanning right now, but can't wait to use it in the summer! It's slightly greasy due to the natural oils, so take the time to rub it in really well. It moisturizes and prevents your skin from drying and peeling. I don't use it with sunscreen, and it helps build a beautiful brown color, not orange like other tanning lotions. It has a browning tint because of the coffee in it, so make sure you apply in small amounts and rub really well to avoid streaks.
