Great SPF coverage

Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion SPF 60:

This has a high SPF. A little goes a long way. The only bad thing is that after you apply it to your face, your face has a white-hue to it, so you can tell you have something on your face.

Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion SPF 60:

This is my favorite sunblock. An skincare specialist suggested that I find a sunblock SPF. I've been using this for the past 3 plus years. I put it overtop my moisturizer. I wear it every day.

Don't let the name fool you--Great for all ages!!

Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion SPF 60:

This is the best sunscreen hands down! It contains only 2 natural ingredients: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which do the best job at protecting your skin from the sun. Most sunscreens contain synthetic ingredients which are not as effective. Do your research online to compare natural sunscreen to synthetic sunscreen to learn about the difference. The only con is that due to the zinc, it does leave a white cast. So, I use a bit less and my foundation covers it anyway, so it's not really an issue for me. It's also sold in stick form, but I haven't tried that yet. Maybe that one doesn't have a white cast. I've noticed since I've been using this sunscreen, my face does not get red any longer. Another plus is that this is one of the less expensive sunscreens containing zinc. Many zinc based sunscreens are much more expensive. I will buy this product for life!!

I smoothe this product on before stepping out into the garden each day. It's a requirement to keep the sunspots at bay each year as the summer approaches.

  • Not As Greasy As Most

Cons

  • Bad Smell
  • Broke My Face Out
  • Doesn't Work Under Makeup
  • Heavy
  • Irritates Skin
  • Leaves White Cast

Best Uses

  • Daily Use
  • Great For Neck And Body

Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion SPF 60:

This left an unsightly white cast on my face, pilled up under my makeup and seemed to really poke at my acne-prone skin. However, it wasn't quite as heavy and sticky as most physical sunblocks. Keep in mind, I used the full 1/4 tsp dosage for my face, so if you don't use quite that much, you might be fine with this. I find I can use this with no issues on my neck, arms and hands, although it does leave a slight white cast on these areas. A little bit of mineral powder disguises this, though.

Comments about Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion SPF 60:

This sunscreen does a good job of protecting the skin from the sun, however there are some things I don't like about it.

1. The smell isn't so great but didn't bother me too much.
2. The worst part: it leaves my face white! This is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to sunscreen.
3. I found the consistency of the product to be a little too thick for my liking.

This is just my opinion, but I would not recommend it if you are like me and do not like it when sunscreen leaves white streaks on the skin.
This may not bother someone if they have very fair skin.

My children have exzema and therefore can't wear sunblock with any fragrance in it. This one didn't cause any rashes or hurt their eyes. I love it. I just wish it were less expensive.
