Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
If you have oily skin, and i mean oily... like having to blot within an hour of application, DO NOT buy this foundation! I even used this with their Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Primer and whenever I blotted, makeup came off. I ended the day looking like a blotchy mess, and there was no foundation left on my nose. I returned it. If you're blessed with no oil production, this is probably a good product.

Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
I tried this in the store and really liked the coverage and matched my olive toned skin pretty well. I needed a foundation that wouldn't melt by noon in the summer heat. I am pleased that it does stay true to color and does not fade until I take it off at night. Even though it is a full coverage foundation, I was pleased that it did not make me break out. I just make sure to remove it completely at night.

Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
I really liked it when the put it on in the store so i bought it. It did have good coverage. THEN, i walked out of the store, and looked in the mirror in my car with sunlight, i was orange! : ( I also have really oily skin. That being said, within an hour, i looked all oily and greasy. Plus, when added with other makeup, like eye shadow, thats when you really notice how orange it was. Again, this i just MY experience. It does have great coverage, but i will never buy again, for my color/skin type

Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
I have normal skin with the typical oil prone areas like on the edges of my nose and in my t-zone. This foundation provides medium coverage but feels super light compared to the other medium coverage foundations I've tried. I use a small dot size on each cheek, forehead, and chin & nose and it spreads extremely evenly and smooth. I also have a yellow undertone (Asian) and this matched my skin perfectly! It lasts all day and still looks pretty good at the end of a long day. This is definitely my favorite foundation I've tried so far, a little pricier than the others but I think it's worth it.

Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
I use the #3 during the Cooler months and got #4 for when I am tan. There is a dramatic difference between the two. It will be perfect when I've got a bit more color. For now I blend a little of each together. It really truly stays on all day long! My only gripe is the price.

Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
This is a wonderful product, but it is very expensive. I would love to but more of this line, however, spending over $100.00 on 2 little bottles is something I can only afford to do once or twice a year unfortunately.

Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
Some of the reviews say the product is hard to apply/blend, but it is WONDERFUL if you use a stippling brush for application. And you won't be wasting your expensive product. SEE TIPS BELOW
I have NEVER spent this much money on makeup, and I've never had results as good, either. I'm really glad I got this. Wanted something to even my skin tone without looking "made up".I lose the red tones while looking natural.Since you use less than a pea-sized amount at a time, I think time will prove that I would have spent the same amount on less-expensive products that didn't work as well.Lasts through my 12-hour work shifts. GREAT PRODUCT.
Tips:.I would not recommend trying to get this to go on well with fingers.Use a tiny bit at a time and add more if you need to.If you squeeze out too much, it starts setting itself before you apply it.Also, use the Auto Pilot primer with it.Same thing - you use less when you apply a TINY bit with a brush - you only need a super-thin application of the primer. The ladies at Ulta can show you how to do this or go to realtechinques.com. IT WILL SAVE YOU MONEY. And your makeup will look great.

Comments about Napoleon Perdis China Doll Foundation:
I usually prefer mineral powder foundation, but decided to give this a try. It's a very nice product; while it is expensive, you only need a small amount for a natural look. If you prefer more coverage, it's easy to apply more foundation without looking "cakey".
