I use only one coat for naturally thick looking lashes and it does just that for me. It is buildable, I have tried a few times. The only downside is the end of the brush gets mascara on my eyelids sometimes when I try to get the lashes in the corner.

I love this mascara! After using so many I have stuck to this specific one for about 2yrs now. I have long but straight lashes and I hate curling them, but with this mascara it seems like I did that. I get asked all the time if my lashes are fake because of how full they look. I highly recommend!
