Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:
I have mild rosacea and severe adult acne that's hormonal (I only break out on my jawline and lower cheeks). I have battled horrible cystic acne most of my life, and tried this cleanser. The first 2 weeks of use, it burned the hell out of my skin, and left it red and patchy for maybe 10 minutes after washing it off. I started Ziana (a retinoid) shortly after so this cleanser was put on the shelf. Fast forward a few months.. I'm no longer using a retinoid and was using random cleansers from exuviance, dermalogica.. even just plain glycerine soap. I found this in my cabinet and tried it again. It burned still. But the next morning, I saw a HUGE reduction in the inflammation of my cystic acne. I used it for a few weeks, and when I ran out and used an old cleanser, my cystic acne flared up again.
First I remove my makeup with makeup remover wipes (as this doesn't really remove it very well.) Then I apply this to dry skin, per the instructions. I leave it on as long as I can handle (about 30 seconds) then rinse with lukewarm water. After that I use Exuviance's soothing toner, and then FAB's ultra repair cream (really you could use whatever moisturizer you wanted.) If I feel a breakout coming on I dab a little tea tree oil on the spot. I don't wash my face in the morning as my skin feels balanced. ALSO.. dermadoctor's calm cool & corrected cream is fantastic! I wish I could afford it..

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:
Have never used any facial cleanser, but turned 30 and suddenly had break outs and dry skin. One of the ULTA gals suggested this and I balked at the price but after another breakout I came in and tried it. So far it has been great no breakouts and no super dry skin! So far I am VERY happy and will buy again!

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:
Let me start out by saying that I love this product! I initially went into the store to purchase a cleanser my esthetician recommended for me however, as I was walking around one of the sales associates who was helping me suggested this product. I was a little weary at first, but after taking a quick look online at the reviews I thought I would give it a try. It isn't your normal face wash and it will take some getting used to. When I apply I leave it on for about five minutes and then use my toner. After, a few days of using this product I could see a difference in my face. I have struggled with adult acne for the past few years. I am also using Epiduo which was prescribed by my doctor. I was initially using Cetaphil along with my prescription but I did not see results I was satisfied with. When I started using this I immediately noticed a difference. My skin texture was very bumpy and now my skin is smooth with very few blemishes. I have been using this product for about three weeks and I can also see a few of my acne scars fading. This stuff is amazing and I would definitely recommend it!!

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:
Overall, I liked this product. I saw immediate differences in my skin...it really soaks up the oil well and you can feel it working (thanks to salicylic acid and glycolic acids present). The only complaint I had is, I prefer scented facewash and ones that lather. The sales gal did tell me that it wouldn't lather, so I knew. I will say, my face feels clean regardless. I recommend using a wash cloth to fully remove makeup.... I may try dermadoctor face wash gel next time...

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:
I have been struggling with moderate acne for about 8 years now. I have tried so many different products including prescription products and none of them have worked for me. Honestly, i didn't believe the Ain't Misbehavin' cleanser would work, and i was planning to return it after a week, but i was surprised when my acne started to clear up a little bit within the first several days. Now it has been about a month, and my face has completely cleared up.
I understand that everyone is different, and this product may not work for everyone, but i think it is definitely worth a try.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:
I developed acne as an adult and have been struggling with it for almost ten years. I have oily skin which seemed to be getting worse with age, not better. I recently read an article about how SLS's, an ingredient in most soaps, shampoos, and cleansers can cause some people to produce excess oil. That's when the light bulb lit up! Over the past couple of years I noticed that my hair had started thinning. Someone recommended that I use a sulfate free shampoo. The results were awesome- my hair is fuller and healthier than ever. It is also less greasy. Unfortunately, I never made the connection between my less greasy hair and using sulfate free shampoo. Ain't Misbehavin' does not contain any SLS, so I thought I would see if a sulfate free product would work for my face too. I am so glad I did! My skin has stopped producing excess oil, and my acne has all but disappeared. Here is a word of warning though- it's not like any cleanser you have used before and it will take some getting used to. The cleanser has a cream-like texture and doesn't lather like soap. Also, it uses AHA and BHA to treat and exfoliate your skin and this can cause a tingling or even slight burning sensation (its not that bad though). Also, it doesn't dry your skin like most acne cleansers, and at first I mistook that for not being clean. One very important thing to know is that this acne cleanser takes time to work- around 1-2 months. Acne has a life cycle of about a month from formation to eruption- so you have to give any acne cleanser or medication at least that long to determine if it is working for you. For the first month my acne appeared worse than before I started using this product. I think this was because the formula wasn't drying out the pimples that had already formed the way other acne treatments do. And also because my skin was readjusting to the non-sulfate formula. But I stuck with it and after six weeks the results were amazing. I have been using the cleanser for about twelve weeks and the only acne I've had were a couple of tiny (hormonal) pimples. My skin is perfectly balanced- much less oily but never over dry. I went out without makeup the other day- something I haven't done in years! Overall, I am very happy with the cleanser and will continue to use it. The only small con is that I don't like to use the cleanser on my eyes because of the BHA and AHA, so I do need to use another cleanser to remove eye makeup.

I love this cleanser! It works great on my skin for my occasional acne flare ups. It also leaves my skin clean & very smooth. I do leave it on at night while I brush my teeth so that it can really get into my pores & that seems to help a lot.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:
After starting with this product I had no new breakouts. It didn't speed the healing of the breakouts I had but made them less red and irritated. Once everything cleared I have noticed an occasional solitary massive zit. So it hasn't stopped everything. But this product makes my skin even. My dry areas aren't dry anymore and the greasy areas seem to be less greasy for longer and longer. I didn't read the instructions but was told by an Ulta staff to apply a quarter size amount to a dry face in a circular motion. Then just to let it sit for around five minutes. It does sting but is easily tolerable. Then I take it off with a damp wash cloth. My skin feels great afterwards. It's not THE cure but it has improved the way I feel about my looks.
