Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

I began to experience cystic acne when I turned 20. I began using Proactive and saw minimal results but was not happy with my overall skin appearance. When I went to Ulta I was just browsing around for a moisturizer because my skin was extremely dry and nothing seemed to be helping. I thought this was because of the harse winter we were experiencing. Turns out it was the Proactive that was causing my skin to become extremely dry. I was hesitant to buy this product because it seemed that I have tried so many cleasing products and have never gotten my desired results. Within the first week of using this product twice a day I noticed immediate results. The bumps on my cheeks reduced drastically. I highly recommend this product for anyone experiencing acne problems. I have completely been blown away by the results. I will definitely continue to purchase this as well as try other items from the brand.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this product is. I had perfect skin all throughout high school, but once I started college my skin absolutely went crazy. My skin began to break out horribly, I had many large pimples & had no clue why. I tried three different acne brands before the esthetician at ulta suggested the Dermadoctor line. Yes it is a little on the pricer side, but I can tell you it is so worth it! My skin cleared up so much within the first 2 weeks, since then my face has completely cleared up! I am acne free because of this product.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

I've been dealing with acne since high school. I've never had a big problem with it, just the occassional flare-up. Well in November, my skin went nuts and I've tried so many different things to no avail. The lady at Ulta suggested this product and while it did hydrate my skin and it felt like it was working while it was on, I didn't notice any change in my acne. I would probably recommend it for someone with very little acne rather than someone with more mild breakouts like I currently have.

A saleslady at ulta recommended that I try this cleanser after I told her I had some acne with oily skin. I really love that it has reduced my pimples. I like to use makeup remover wipes first to remove my makeup and then the misbehavin cleanser. I usually follow with serum and moisturizer. I will continue to purchase this cleanser to keep me zit free.

I was convinced this would help clear out my skin by the associate there, however after a month and a half of using it, it made my skin worse. For me anyway, the product was ineffective.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

I've been experiencing hormone related breakouts and while a cleanser alone isn't going to change that, this definitely doesn't exacerbate the condition. This cleanser leaves my face feeling thoroughly clean and soft and I can feel it tingling on troublesome spots, penetrating where it's most needed. I usually go for the more cost effective solution but I'm now on my third bottle because this is the gentlest and most effective acne cleanser I've used yet.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

There's always that one comment that says, "I bought this thinking I'd return it but it ended up being perfect," but honestly, that is the case with me. I've tried Proactiv, every grocery store brand, scrubs, masks, different makeups, even birth control pills to control my acne (clusters of painful ones around my chin, some on cheeks, oily t-zone, redness galore). I went into Ulta looking to buy the Mario Badescu glycolic acid face wash after reading what glycolic acid does to your skin, and I was super disappointed when they didn't have it in stock so the Ulta sales woman recommended this to me. I looked it up on my phone really quickly to see the reviews since it was a lot more expensive than what I was looking to spend, and I ended up buying it and keeping the box and receipt for almost a month thinking I'd probably return it.

For the first 3 weeks (maybe even month) my skin was actually worse. I was getting constant zits in random places that I normally don't get them, but I stuck it out because I've always read that it takes about a month for face washes to work. After a rough period, my skin hasn't looked better. My acne scars are fading (partial thanks to the Clarisonic I got for Christmas) and I haven't really had any zits at all. My skin is smooth, pores are small, and even when a small zit starts to show up it goes away MUCH quicker than it used to. This stuff gets rid of pimples, prevents new ones, and when new ones do come it makes them go away extremely fast. On top of that, it gets rid of old acne scars. I've been using it in the morning and the Clarisonic at night, but if I do use it at night I make sure I use a makeup remover pad first, let my skin dry, then apply and leave on for 2-3 minutes and rinse off, then follow with moisturizer. That's all it takes. It doesn't foam at all, but you can feel it working when you first start using it- it feels drying and may sting if you have a sensitive zit somewhere. But despite how different it may be from the beloved foaming face washes, I can honestly say that I think part of the reason it works so well is because it's more a treatment lotion than a "wash." All in all, this plus the Clarisonic I added to my collection is the dream team when it comes to perfect skin.

Some things to consider: you put it on DRY skin and leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse off. I was told that the glycolic acid in it becomes inactive when wet, so make sure your hands and face are dry and makeup-free before applying. Also, it seems expensive but you only need to use a tiny amount to cover your face. I can see this stuff lasting me 6+ months because all I use is a tad more than a pea-sized amount and it's the perfect amount to cover my face. Third, I was worried about it being drying, but it's not at all. My skin isn't too sensitive but it's not necessarily non-sensitive either, and I have had zero problems with dry skin while using this. I've had dryer skin when using things like Neutrogena than I have with this stuff- so even though it may feel drying when you first start using it, it really does balance your skin out and won't make you have ugly dry patches that are impossible to cover up.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

Walked into Ulta and hung around while my husband was getting his hair cut. Lady who worked there approached me and started going on about how beautiful my skin was and how I needed to take care of it. So I bought the Litmus moisturizer to go along with the cleanser. BAD IDEA...
I have pretty healthy skin.. only get a pimple here or there during my menstrual cyle.. after using the cleanser and Litmus Moisturizer for 6 days, I have completely broken out. By mid morning, my T-Zone is greased out... Not to mention that both products burn my face. I have never had skin this bad in my life (I am 30). I fully intend to return both products.
