I thought this would be the perfect stage make up kit. Something to hold a little bit of make up and had a nice large mirror, so you could apply makeup without a "station" in the dressing room. It was a total disappointment. The interior design is awful, and hard to store items in. The pull out brush holder is useless as the case will not close (not even if you just put one or two brushes in) if you use it. The lid was hard to line up with the latch when closing the case. The lock was a joke and was hard to work, and when powder make up spilled inside (due to it getting crushed by the tray) it was impossible to clean the fabric lining.. in fact the fabric started peeling off! A couple of weeks later the handle fell off too.. junk. I wish I could return it, but it looks like it went to war.. (it didn't) Oh and the mirror broke when a sharp make up container pierced it when the lid was closed.. save your money for something better. This is not what you want.. The only thing this would be useful for, is maybe a kids stage make up kit- one who only has a couple of things to store and wont need to use it too often.

Perfect for what I was looking for! I do wish I could use the pull-out pocket for more than a flat mirror though. But good for what I needed!

My daughter used this bag and in a week the handle's spring came off. I returned the case.

I went on a vacation and I bought this to store my makeup in thinking I could take out the bottom tray dividers and when I did I closed the box empty and it got stuck almost broke trying to get it back open and with dividers there are 4 triangles which makes it very hard to store most make up items.. may work great for something else.. Top tray is nice I put all my face stuff in there.

If you are looking for counter storage for your makeup, this won't really work because it doesn't have enough compartments, and there is no way to store your brushes (if you use the included pocket, you can't close the case. If you remove the pocket, then you have to store your brushes elsewhere). It you want this for long term storage, you might as well get something bigger.
