I went on a vacation and I bought this to store my makeup in thinking I could take out the bottom tray dividers and when I did I closed the box empty and it got stuck almost broke trying to get it back open and with dividers there are 4 triangles which makes it very hard to store most make up items.. may work great for something else.. Top tray is nice I put all my face stuff in there.

If you are looking for counter storage for your makeup, this won't really work because it doesn't have enough compartments, and there is no way to store your brushes (if you use the included pocket, you can't close the case. If you remove the pocket, then you have to store your brushes elsewhere). It you want this for long term storage, you might as well get something bigger.

The latch is flimsy. There is a gap on the side when closed (even after taking out the makeup). I was excited when I saw this product. It seemed like it was the perfect case, but turned out to be just okay. If improved, I probably would recommend it.
