I bought this product because I had seen it advertized and heard it was a really good mascara. I also love the Benefit powder foundation, so I thought I would try it. The formula isn't the greatest, it smudges and runs easily. I also do not like the brush and it takes more than two coats to get good volume and lengthening. I feel it was overpriced and a waste. I went back to using the brand I previously used.

I own both of Benefit's award winning mascaras: BADgal Lash and They're Real. Both are excellent but do different things in my experience.
They're Real: lengthens, doesn't clump, has a smaller brush, a rich color
BADgal Lash: volumizes AND lengthens, doesn't clump, has a big brush which gives the advantage of grabbing all your lashes at the same time to ensure equal coats, rich color.

My only con honestly would be the fact that even though both these mascaras are non-waterproof, they take FOREVER to take off. But it's also a pro since this way, it lasts longer on your lashes throughout the day.

I'm only writing a review for BADgal Lash because I like better than They're Real. It does the same thing, if not more, and is a cheaper alternative.

I need mascara that stays on for about 10 hours. This starts to run and smear under my eyes after about 4 hours. I am very disappointed.

This product is amazing. The brush is so big and makes it easy to catch eyelashes. You can do any look you want from dramatic to natural. It is one of the best mascaras I have ever used.

I usually use Urban Decay's Big Fatty but decided to try this as I was looking for thickness in my lashes rather than length. This wand will do that but I found that the mascara doesnt last for the day and by the end of my work day there are smudges around my eyes. Not a good mascara to use during exercise as it will run, smudge, and fade quickly. Going back to my UD!!!
