I bought them for daily use, but there are not enough curlers in the set. It would be okay to travel with, and for a quick touch up. But, you may need to reuse the curlers to set your whole head.

This set is really compact and easy to pack. I especially like that it has a soft case because I've had plastic roller set cases break in my suitcase before. The downsides are the color, really obnoxious,and the rollers themselves. I am used to the extra jumbo flocked rollers and these are much smaller (producing a much tighter curl) and they are also a very hard plastic with spikes, which is think is both uncomfortable and harsh on my hair.
With that said, until a better travel set comes along, this works very well for traveling and I would recommend it for that purpose.

I can get up in the morning with bedhead,plug my rollers in and it takes me from the timeI brush my teeth ,the rollers are hot so I can roll my hair ,jump in the shower and bamb...by the time I get dried off,put some clothes on and some make up on, my hair is ready to be brushed thru and I am out the door...
