Comments about Sally Hansen Extra Strength Spray-On Shower-Off Hair Remover:
I use the Sally Hair Remover Cream (in blue box) approximately every 3-4 weeks for the peach fuzz on my face and it's great. I like it because it doesn't burn or effect my sensitive skin like all others. I thought since this was also a Sally product I'd be good to go. How wrong I was! I got it on sale and with a coupon for literally 75 cents so I figured "why not?".
To begin, I tested an area directly above my knee as I'd already shaved my calves the night before; and left it on for about 2 minutes to start. I didn't want to overdo it so I played it safe. The hair wiped away smoothly so I waited a half hour -for any delayed reactions- but when there were none, I went for it.
As stated before, it was perfect for the test spot of fine, hard-to-see hair on my thighs but once I covered the whole area the noxious smell really started to get to me. I turned the bathroom fan on and that helped some, but not enough in my opinion. The hair wiped away well so I was on the fence at this point. At this time, my biggest complaint (odor aside) was the film it left behind. I still tried to reserve judgement until I showered at the end of the process as it's meant to be used in shower.
Afterward, I proceded on to my arms where the hair's a bit darker and coarser. OW! After only 2 minutes it started to burn so terribly that I had no choice but to remove it immediately. I fear I wasn't quick enough as once it was rinsed off, I had puffy red welts where it was applied. On top of that, it didn't remove all the hair. Whether that's due to early removal or thicker hair is anyone's guess.
As stated above, I have terribly sensitive skin (thus the test) so I'm not too shocked or put out being that I've had worse. I'm just disappointed that a brand I usually love has let me down. I have an inkling that the malodorous scent is what caused the reaction (they mentioned a lavender scent on the commercial). The other downside was that even after a shower I still retained a slight film. I had to wash twice, being careful not to rub the affected areas -using only my hand and a hypoallergenic soap- and only then did the film finally disippate.
All said, if you have 1: Tough skin that's not prone to reactions caused by chemicals or scents, and 2: Fine to medium thick hair, I think this would work fine but probably not something to use on a regular basis due to hassel. If you have sensitive skin or coarse hair... STAY AWAY and keep your money.

It worked fine, but I had to give it 7 full minutes, not the 3 minutes the advertising boasts. I only got 1 full application and about 2/3 the second application and the can was empty

Comments about Sally Hansen Extra Strength Spray-On Shower-Off Hair Remover:
I like my arms to be hair-free and I've been using Nair for some time. But I finally found a product that does NOT test on animals!! This product is very easy to use; simply spray it on, wait 2-3 minutes and wipe it off. It did tingle my skin a bit, so I definitely would not recommend this for anyone with sensitive skin. It keeps my arms smooth for at least a week and the hair does grow back slowly and more fine.

If you can endure the stinging, it will work in the areas where the hair is fine. Otherwise, you are better off using a razor.

Comments about Sally Hansen Extra Strength Spray-On Shower-Off Hair Remover:
I wanted to try something else for a change instead of shaving my legs. This product did not work at all and it smells weird too. I will not try any of these products anymore because i haven't seen any results from them.

Comments about Sally Hansen Extra Strength Spray-On Shower-Off Hair Remover:
I bought this to use on my arms and legs. It worked adequately on my arms and I liked that you could spray it on instead of manually applying, but it did a poor job of removing the parse hair on my legs.

Comments about Sally Hansen Extra Strength Spray-On Shower-Off Hair Remover:
This is the last chance I've given this product - I've used this product in the past and did not have great results, and I didn't this time around either. When applying it burns and causes redness and irritation on my skin, does not remove any hair at all, and smells terrible. Sorry Sally Hansen, but this isn't your forté.
