Works as well as Proactiv

Comments about Ddf Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% with Tea Tree Oil:

I have used proactiv for almost 10 years, but was becoming very annoyed with their methods of shipment, new products that cost way more, etc. Proactiv worked well for me. I have had acne pretty much since I was 16 and I am now 29. I switched to DDF Benzoyl Peroxide gel treatment to see if I could get the same results as proactiv. Overall, I would say that I do. I still get occasional acne on my chin around my mouth, which is infuriating, but seems to be the story of my life. I use a benzoyl peroxide cleanser followed by this product, followed by the DDF light Dew Moisturizer. It seems to me the results are very similar to what I got before and I have been happy with it. This gel tends to be very drying and makes your skin feel tight, so I recommend a moisturizer afterwards. The DDF moisturizer I use is a good compliment. Overall, I would say this is a good product for people with mild to moderate acne.

Comments about Ddf Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% with Tea Tree Oil:

I love this product for black heads, white heads, and acne. It is the only one that works. It does dry out your skin though so be sure to use a good moisturizer after applying. Also, if you wear makeup, make sure you don't rub on the area you applied this to because the residue will flake and ball up. Just pat.

Comments about Ddf Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% with Tea Tree Oil:

I keep coming back to this product again and again. I'm in my mid-thirties and have had acne since I was a teenager. I've used everything for my hormonal acne, including a round of Accutane in my teens, which worked until after I had children. This doesn't clear me 100%, so I always stop using it and try other brands/types of acne meds, but I *always* come back. This is the most effective, most tolerated OTC cream that I've tried. Why do I keep trying other things?!? Product junkie, I guess. ;)

I am in my 30's and feel like I have tried everything out there to clear up my mild acne. I came across this and it works wonders. I do use it with other products but when used in moderation it clears pimples and doesn't dry out the skin. I apply it in the morning and at night before bed. highly recommend it.

Comments about Ddf Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% with Tea Tree Oil:

I was looking for an anti-acne product that isn't super drying, effective, and affordable, so I'm glad I found this product. I wanted a benzoyl peroxide based product instead of a salicylic acid based one because salicylic acid dries out my skin too much. Love this product!

This product worked well on a breakout I had on my chin and cheeks. 2.5% benzoyl peroxide wasn't working so I was looking for something with 5% and this was perfect. It is a smooth gel without an overpowering fragrance, and it didn't dry my skin out. Would definitely buy again.

Comments about Ddf Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% with Tea Tree Oil:

I am 26 and have had moderate acne since I was 12. Prescription acne cream cleared up my skin in high school but after college my acne came back even with the creams. Nothing has worked for the past 4 years. I have tried different prescriptions, medicated face washes, and most recently the new ProActive. I bought this 2 days ago and already see a huge difference! I had little acne bumps across my forehead and big acne bumps on my chin and cheeks and already they have either disappeared or gone down tenfold. It does dry out your skin (even mine which is used to harsh acne medications) so I have used a moisturizer in the morning. I wash my face with a plain foaming cleanser and use the ddf at night. I am already loving this product after just 2 uses! Finally!!

                A:

This product is a leave-on treatment.

Directions: Cleanse skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because too much drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two to three times daily if needed, or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen. Allow benzoyl peroxide product to dry, then follow the directions in the sunscreen labeling. If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of both products and consult a physician.
