DDF’s #1 acne product. DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask (Sulfur 10% Acne Treatment) is a clay mask with sulfur and purified clays to absorb oil and help keep pores clear. (4.0 oz)
- Clears blemishes
- Absorbs oil
- Helps keep pores clear
"Sulfur is great to use as an active ingredient for acne, as it has a different mechanism to the commonly used Salicylic Acid. Sulfur works by causing infecred skin to dry up faster than usual; it then exfoliates to remove it. If you are currently using other ingredients, such as Salicylic Acid but seeing limited results - consider adding this to you regimen to see a real difference." - Annie Spencer, DDF R&D Specialist
Did you know? The DDF Sulfur Mask can also be applied as a targeted blemish treatment.

Comments about DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask:
This stuff works great to clear up blemishes. I use it on my chest and back as well if I'm breaking out. It says to use once a week, but I was able to use it more often if I had an emergency situation where I wanted blemishes to clear up extra fast and it wouldn't dry out my skin. It does smell really bad (sulfur), but is worth it.

I use this on my face, chest and back to help control breakouts and keep oil under control. After a couple uses, I saw results right away. The breakouts that I did have healed fast and were less noticeable. I scar really easy and this also helps to fight that when I get breakouts.

Comments about DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask:
I use this product one a week or sometimes twice (if my acne gets really bad) and it really does its' job! The first time I used this mask I could not get the sulfur smell off of my skin for a few days but after using the product for over two years I am either used to it or it has gone away :-). DDF sulfur masks clears out my pores and dries up my pimples (when I have them). It is the most important product in my skin care regimen. It helps control my oily skin- so pretty much when I do not use it I start to break out like crazy. I have acne-prone skin..if you do too I suggest you try this out! It is a bit pricy but the product lasted for a year (and I used it quite generously).

Comments about DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask:
Seems to help my acne some. I have severe acne and I would say that this product has reduced it to moderate acne. I have been doing a full face mask every other day for 1 month. I am now doing a full face mask every other day and spot masking on the other days. I just wash, then apply mask and let sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse away, dry and moisturize with a HIGH QUALITY moisturizer. I plan on consulting my Ulta facialist to see if a higher % of sulfer treatment is available. The sulfer seems to be gentler and has less of a drying effect on my skin than other acne treatments I have tried.

Comments about DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask:
My skin goes through breakout phases where I get a lot of pimples for mainly hormonal reasons around the chin and sides of the face. My skin typically is dry so I can only use this product where absolutely needed and when I do I notice a huge difference. I like to leave it on overnight for 2 nights in a row and my pimples are usually barely visible by the 3rd day.
Pros

Cons
- Dries Out Skin

Comments about DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask:
I have combination skin that has gotten fairly dry this winter. It's rare that an acne mask works for me and this one certainly has. At first I thought nothing was happening but when I began using it consistently, once per week, I began noticing differences. I no longer have pimples, only small bits of acne. This product in addition to the DDF acne scrub definitely works! However, both this mask and the acne scrub should not be used very often or else it will dry your skin out. Otherwise, these in addition to my acne regimen has truly made a difference in my skin and I look forward to it improving even more!

Cons
- Dries Out Skin
- Irritates Skin

Comments about DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask:
Bought this after reading positive reviews. I used it twice, and both times it made my very oily skin red, scaly, and sensitive. I have very "tolerant" skin and I am not prone to irritation. After doing some research, I've found that sulfur is not a good way to go for acne. Salicylic acid, at the right pH, is really the best way to go without a prescription. Irritation causes inflammation, which over time results in collagen break-down and aging. Not good at all.
