This tool takes some practice to use. First several times my twist didn't look very good. It is still hit or miss. Sometimes it goes up really good other times not so good.

I purchased this overpriced product hoping that it would make it so that I could easily and quickly put my hair up in a simple french twist on my own for work (the only ways that I know how to put my way, mid-length hair up are in a ponytail or a very basic, messy bun). This product simply doesn't work. The instructions are too vague and it's hard to see details in the photos. Using it accomplished nothing but frustration and hair being pulled out. The pin wouldn't even stay in place. I promptly returned it.
