Make sure you exfoliate the skin for an ultra smooth surface and then apply a moisturizer before applying Dermablend. You will get a much better finish.

Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
I was trying to cover up some scars on my arm from bad oven burns. I bought the product in light, which is the lightest shade offered, and it was still much to dark. I've tried multiple techniques of application and nothing worked. It didn't even begin to cover it no matter how many layers I applied. It just looked like I gunked a bunch of foundation over some scars. My concealer works better than this junk. DONT BUY. Whoever says that this product work either works for the company and is trying to promote it or is crazy. Don't waste your money, as it is pricey.
Pros
- Effective Protection
- Non-comedogenic
- Not Greasy
- Rubs In Well
- Sweatproof
- UVA/UVB Protection

Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
I probably needed to try more than just 2 colors. The associate at Ulta did her best to assist me with matching the product to my skin tone. Once I got home and was able to apply it correctly, it was all wrong. However, it is a good product, but to cover my tattoo, I just use conceler, and a liquid and powder foundation. It works for me, but my tattoos are small.
Pros
- Sweatproof
- Waterproof
Cons
- Not total coverage
Best Uses
- Covering Blemishes
Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
I needed to cover a foot tattoo for an interview recently, and Dermablend was recommended to me. I used the leg and body cover plus the setting powder, but the results were kind of mediocre. The leg and body cover don't completely cover the tattoo (after 2 coats), and the color is a bit off from my skin. To correct this, I wore sheer, nude colored nylons over the makeup, which actually made the tattoo almost invisible. I could see a faint outline, but I think that is partly because I know it is there. The product did not come off during the day (and it was raining all day!), and it only came off in the shower after I soaped up a washcloth. Basically, Dermablend isn't perfect for tattoos, but it can work.
Pros
- Effective Protection
- Non-comedogenic
- Rubs In Well
- Sweatproof
- UVA/UVB Protection
- Waterproof
Cons
- Is Not Smudge Proff
Best Uses

Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
This product would be perfect if it didnt tend to rub off on your clothes. It really is not smudge proof or long lasting. Also need more shades that complement african american skin tones. I have to blend two different shades to get the right shade. But it has super great coverage and a little goes a long way. People complement my makeup almost daily and are always asking which brand I use.
Pros
- Not Greasy
- UVA/UVB Protection
Cons
- Doesn't rub in well
- Dries Darker Than Skin
- Need Too Many Coats
Best Uses
- Daily Use
Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
I bought this to cover a tattoo on my arm and it worked, but the product dries way darker than your skin color and I also needed to use many coats. If you are going to use I suggest that you get a shade or two lighter than your skin color.
Pros
- Not Greasy
- Rubs In Well
- Sweatproof
Cons
- Does Not Cover

Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
This product says that it will cover up tattoos, so I thought i would try it on some scars i have on my legs. It did not cover them. It would be good to hide dark circles or something, and lasts a long time and needs to be removed with make-up remover, but will not cover what it claims to. Not worth the money.
Pros

- Non-comedogenic

- Sweatproof

Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
Bought the product to cover a small tattoo on my shoulder and a scar on the arch of my foot for a formal event. Great coverage and dried quickly. It dried a bit lighter than I expected. When you try the samples let it dry completely before you decide on the color. No complaints except the color. Didn't seem to rub off. I did not try it in water so I am not sure if it is truly waterproof.
Pros
- Good For Freckles
- Non-comedogenic
- Sets Well
- Smooth finish
Cons
- Blotchy On Large Areas
- Doesn't rub in well
- Have To Mix Colors
Best Uses

Comments about Dermablend Leg and Body Cover:
I initially bought Dermablend for my daughter to wear on stage but when I saw the results on her I bought a lighter shade for myself for face makeup. Have to say this is one of the best make-ups for my freckly skin as it gives great even coverage all day, without having to use facial powder. Requires a thick moisturizer underneath and careful application but the results are definitely worth it for me.
