I bought this product a month ago, hearing all of my friends rave about their smudge pots. But this brand is extremely hard to use. Not smooth or easy to apply at all...too clumpy. I've only had this smudge pot for a few weeks and it seemed to dry out after just a few days...now it's almost impossible to apply. And yes, I do seal the lid tightly.

It's a little clumpy but glides on really well. Good thing is you can control thickness of eyeliner. Bad thing, no eyeliner brush comes with it. At this price, you would expect it to have its own eyeliner brush.

I needed a new black gel eyeliner, one like M.A.C that I had been using and really like. I was told by an Ulta associate to try the Stila brand. However, I did not like it. I found that it was hard to put on, did not go on smoothly and it pulled at my lower lashes. I felt like it dried to quickly before I could get to my eyes so it flaked alot. Also, the pot seem to dry out to only after a few uses. I returned and exchanged it for the smashbox pot and love that one.

I wanted an eyeshadow for everyday that wasn't too bold but still gave my eyes some definition. This one is perfect. I got it in kitten and I love it. It's sheer but it brightens my eyelids and makes me look awake all day. It also doubles as an eyelid primer so when I want to use eyeliner, I apply the smudgepot and the eyeliner doesn't run. Highly recommend.

I bought this in Kitten to use as a very quick, plain-but-cute eyeshadow on days when I wasn't going "all-out" on makeup. It looks gorge in the pot but yuck on my lids! It was VERY sheer, just shimmer. Hated the color, LOVED the staying power. I tried to wipe it off with a tissue & ended up needing to use makeup remover. Have used gel liners before & love them, so I exchanged for the black to use as a liner & OMG. My oily lids have never seen such lovely lines. THE BEST liner I've ever used, period.
