Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash is a rich, skin-conditioning botanical cleanser for the entire body. Soap-free Quillaja Saponaria extract thoroughly cleanses the skin, leaving it feeling soft and silky. Essential oils of Tea Tree, Lemon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary gently purify without stripping the skin's own natural moisturizers. The soothingly fragrant essential oils of Sandalwood, Lavender, Orange and Clary Sage moisturize the skin, leaving it smooth and conditioned. Contains no artificial fragrance or color. Professional recommendation advised.

How it works:
  • Naturally-foaming Quillaja Saponaria Extract provides soap-free cleansing without stripping the skin's natural moisture balance.
  • Purifying essential oils of Tea Tree, Lemon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary invigorate the skin.
  • Panthenol and essential oils of Sandalwood and Lavender help to condition the skin.

Comments about Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash:

I use this at my bathroom sink -- a little goes a long way -- my hands stay soft and moisturized, easily gets rid of makeup. I have contacts, so I wash my hands a lot -- and before doing anything with eye makeup -- a little goes a long way. And the smell is so fresh -- nice "spoil me" feeling. It is a great shower soap as well -- just use a different product for fragrance instead of this specific product.

Comments about Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash:

I guess it's the ingredients in the soap? I ordered online, but it took too long to ship, so I picked up a smaller bottle at Ulta. I should have tried the smaller bottle first. I developed very itchy skin with a red rash after use. I have no issues with their shaving line. I'll have to switch back to Jack Black Turbo Wash for my shower soap. I was hoping I could just use Dermalogica, since I really like their pre/post shave products.

Also, the initial smell isn't very appealing. I thought it smelled like acne wash.

Comments about Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash:

Mmmmmm... The smell of this stuff is heavenly to me. It's herbal without that fake herbal smell some body washes have. You know - the ones that say "lavender vanilla" and smell nothing like actual lavender or vanilla. Anyway, this doesn't smell like lavender or vanilla either. It's WAY better. It cleans without leaving a heavy scent on my skin, it lathers well for me, and washes cleanly away. Did I mention the smell? Ah....

Comments about Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash:

First off, this Body Wash smells amazing. The sandlewood is now my favorite scent for this season. I went into Ulta to look for other options for Face Wash/Creams/Acne Reducer. I am using Murad, but the product keeps changing every time I walk into Ulta. The Facial lady has recommended the Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash to me, when I was looking for better pricing and better quality of Face Wash, etc. She did this "Quick," and I mean quick, facial exam on me, asking questions of my face. She scribbled some lines on a piece of paper and hands me the paper and off to someone else who can make a facial appointment. The Facial lady was in a hurry to leave and get out of the store, so I didn't bother making a facial appointment. I did purchase the Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash to give it a try. I do like it, just wish the smell stay longer on my body. For the cost, I would continue to buy it if the price was not so high. If it was cut in half, I would continue to buy it.

                    Hello Misty,
Thank you for your inquiry. We do not recommend using soap to cleanse your skin due to the ph of soaps and the drying ingredients. These factors will make dry sensitive skin worse. Our Conditioning Body Wash is ph balanced to your skin and has essential oil to keep skin soft and hydrate as well as thoroughly cleanse the skin.

                    Hello Maryah,
Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. For dry eczema skin this body wash may be drying. It is a foaming gel cleanser that is pH balanced to the skin however, you may need something more nourishing. Ultra Rich Body Cream would be a good moisturizer for daily use.

                    A:

Those with breakouts on their back and chest can certainly use Conditioning Body Wash, but a better option for you may be Medibac Clearing Skin Wash (Item #:2152599) or Clear Start Breakout Clearing Foaming Wash (Item #: 2264975), which are both formulated with salicylic acid to fight breakouts. Another good option to treat body acne is Clear Start Breakout Clearing All Over Toner (Item #: 2264978).
