I had high hopes for this shampoo, since I LOVE the Ulta brand Brunette Conditioner. But, this left me disappointed. Texture is very watery, so it takes a lot of cleanse my long, thick hair. Then, once it's rinsed out, my hair is very dry and full of knots, a conditioner is a MUST with this shampoo. I'll use up what I have, but I'll be going back to a name brand brunette shampoo!

This shampoo smells great and makes my hair super soft. It also seems to bring back some of the original vibrancy of color, which I appreciate as an older woman. I have to use a lot more of it than other shampoos, so it may end up being not as cost-effective as I would like.

This shampoo, along with the Conditioner, is the best stuff! I have somewhat hard water where I live. Coming from an area in the country with soft water, I was missing my shinny, fluffy clean-feeling hair. These products work great. I won't use anything else. Also, you can't beat the value!

This is the best shampoo I have ever used for color treated hair!! I have tried many, but this is the most effective. Cleans well without drying, gives my hair body & shine. It doesn't leave any residues, so my hair stays cleaner longer, & it also controls frizz. I have never had any bad hair days since using the Ulta Shampoo.

I only use this product for my color-treated hair. The color doesn't seem to fade as quickly as it did with other brands.

This may be a useful product if you are young with fairly normal hair. But for an older woman who colors to cover gray, this product is ineffective. My hair is also fine. My first use was with the matching conditioner. My hair had more body that time, but subsequent uses didn't produce the same result. Nor does it produce shine as well as the original brand. I can only think that the switch of shampoos (advised) was the reason for the good first result. This is a low sulfite shampoo, so it does not lather hardly at all, which does make it easier to wash out. However, it also means that there is no detangling or moisture aspect to it. I once used just the shampoo and no conditioner and left my hair to air dry. My hair was brittle, hard to comb through and when dry, my hair was full of static. Will never purchase again. Sorry, ULTA
