Comments about Karina French Couture2-Prong Hair Clip:
Don't even bother. I've had good experiences with this brand, and for whatever reason, all my "made in France" hair items have always held up to being battered. This clip, though, proves to be an exception to both.
My hair is fine, straight, and doesn't take well to being forced to do anything but just hanging naturally. This basically means I can be very hard on hair clips due to having to get them to maneuver through my very tightly wound hair. This clip, unfortunately, doesn't hold up to the abuse well and the middle prongs are prone to bending.
That said, I'm still using the clip, which remain intact without any broken prongs, so the clip isn't as flimsy as it may seem from the bendy prongs. However, I tend to have to clip my hair back in hair more often than I'd like since the clip slips out of place every once in a while since I can't tighten my hair as necessary to keep a clip in place.

Comments about Karina French Couture2-Prong Hair Clip:
I imagine this would work best for someone with texture to their hair. I've got very thick but straight hair and was seeking something that would gently hold my hair back without causing any pulling tension. I still end up lightly tying a hair tie in my loose pony tail to keep this thing in place or it starts to slowly slide down [sometimes to the point I'm not aware yet do NOT want people seeing my hair like that!]. So this would NOT work for someone with fine hair and probably be better for someone with curyly hair for the teeth to really grip in.

Comments about Karina French Couture2-Prong Hair Clip:
I'd been eyeing this pretty clip, it looked perfect for non-fussy quick updos. Which it would have been, had it not fallen apart at the spring after only a few uses. Very sad :( wish I could find my reciept so I could return it. Maybe mine was just defective.

My hair is pretty thick, but the clip was still kind of big. It slipped out often. Perhaps it was because my hair is so straight.

Comments about Karina French Couture2-Prong Hair Clip:
Works really well, and holds my shoulder-length hair in place without any major "fall outs", despite the shorter layers. Is very comfortable--not a lot of tugging like some other clips.

Comments about Karina French Couture2-Prong Hair Clip:
Works as a temporary sectioning clip as well as a great cover for hair ties and bobby pins (oh, you evil French twist). The only draw back is that the grip, spring, isn't strong enough to hold large sections of hair on it's own. That said, every style needs a foundation, so if you use pins and ties already this is a great accessory.
