I am used to the MAC felt tip pen that has a very fine point. Using this chisel was really difficult and I can't get the cat-eye point I want with it. It's also not very pigmented and kind of watery. I ended up using it as my lower liner. A softer, less harsh line than the heavier liner I use on top.

I hate this eyeliner it is ti smudging and not dark enough and since i am the type of girl that always has to have eyeliner and mascara on i certainly will not be wearing this. i will just go back to maybelline for my eyeliners since their eyeliners are darker and way better

I have a habit of loving things that become discontinued. I had bought quite a few of the Marker Eyeliners at once last year because it's been my favorite eyeliner since it was released and I feared it might be discontinued. I just opened my last one today, so I checked on L'Oreal's website to make sure it's still being produced in the US. I was relieved to find it here online (so I can buy it at the drug store); however, I was shocked by all the negative reviews here! What the what?! I rarely ever write reviews, but after years and years of my favorite beauty products being discontinued, I felt compelled to do so. This product is amazing for all its capabilities and price! It is ultra-precise and easy to use. I tossed all my liquid liners when I found this product. The fact that it's a marker gives you so much more control than with the typical liquid liner brushes, no matter how fancy and/or expensive. It never smudges, even in the summer's high heat and humidity where I live (plus, I have oily eyelids!). It's definitely waterproof. I typically don't wear waterproof mascara, so while my mascara runs, my eyeliner stays put. It's also easy to remove. I don't need heavy make-up remover, just a good wash with the most gentle facial cleanser, Cetaphil. I always get compliments on my eyeliner and I wish I could attach pictures to show why. I'm giving this product a rave review because it's my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE EYELINER and I would HATE to see it taken off the shelves.

Just a tip for those who complain that this marker eyeliner is "streaky" , "skips", and is "gray".... DO NOT store it upright. Keep it laying flat (horizontal) for best use. (It used to say this on the package, but for some reason doesn't anymore)

You can go wrong with the voluminous eyeliner by L'OREAL it's a great buy perfect for practicing for that cat eye look.. I love it .

Use the application tip backwards to apply, works best this way. Stays on all day and will not get on your upper eyelid. My must have item.

Horrid. It hurts your eyes when you try drawing a line and I don't understand how this concept supposed to work. Why don't we just use a permanent marker as eyeliner?
