This brush is not hard on the hair. I have very thin hair and after I blow dry my hair feels soft and full. I don't have to use the straitening iron as much as this brush does it for me.

Excellent styling while blow-drying. I use the small size for short hair but I also have the larger sizes for when my hair is longer. This is the best brush ever for styling while blow-drying.
My only complaint is Ulta keeps low stock on the small size and not always readily available when I needed a replacement.
