This astringent actually works very well for me when I use it alone (not as a follow up to a cleanser). I have a horrible amount of blackheads and clogged pores after turning 40, and this helps minimize them a little. Wish I could get my hands on the cleanser as well, but it is always sold out.

I was shocked to see how much yuckiness this product removed from my face even after I washed my face. You may have to hang tough for a 4-5 days-I found it "drew" the black heads out to the surface, but I could easily treat and cover those at the time. After a week or so, I have essentially no clogged pores, pimples or blackheads. I just wish ULTA would get the face wash in as well. You can't beat this product as a great value.

This product is great right out of the shower after I use my cleanser. I started by using just once a day-usually at night- but occasionally I will use in the morning as well. After morning use I follow up with L'oreal Youth Code SPF 30 moisturizer. My skin already reacts beautifully with this product and it has only been like a week! After application there is a bit of a tingle but goes away after a minute or two- I feel like it is working! After the product has soaked into my skin it feels very soft and even. I could not be happier. I know you are not supposed to touch your face but I have a hard time not touching it since it is so soft now! Especially since it is winter. It doesn't fry out my skin at all and it is shrinking my pores!

I found the hype of this product to be incredibly true. Though the product is a bit pricey for how much you get, I've found this product to be extremely helpful in cooling and calming my skin, as well as reducing pore size and blackheads. Give this product two thumbs, and I'm definitely going to repurchase again.
