Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I dyed my hair bright red, I'm naturally blonde.
I didn't want to bleach my hair since bleach is harsh.

I tried color oops because I saw that it took all colors out And the reviews were good.
It doesn't smell as bad as people say, but it does smell foul.
It worked to a point but definitely not what was advertised.
It took me from a bright red and lightened me to a ginger color.

It didn't take out "all artificial colors". Or take me back to my natural color as advertised.

I'm slightly disappointed. But it lightened me enough to do as I wanted.
I would reccomend this to a friend. But I'd tell them the side effect.
It also dried my hair out. Definitely use a deep conditioner like I did to minimalist the effects.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

the product did get the unwanted color out of my hair but turned my a hair a copper color. (I'm naturally a brunette). the smell is horrible. smells like sewage or rotten eggs or something but it's bad. I've washed my hair 2 times since I've used this product and dyed my hair and I can still smell it a little in my hair. It is gentle enough that you can dye your hair after you use it. it worked good overall so if you can get past and stomach the smell then get it.

This product works wonderful. It had a pungent smell to it that was not easy to deal with but other than that it was perfect!

I did my hair black about 3 months ago and have let it grow out about 3-4 inches. The black part of my hair is still the exact same shade as it was before!! I was really disappointed bc I had to buy two boxes..

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I dyed my hair ash brown and it came out jet black and was way too overpowering. I didn't want to spend $100 at the salon so I looked up other solutions to lightening the color. I decided to give color oops a try. I followed the directions completely and my hair color was much closer to my natural color & I'm very happy with how it looks.

The odor was not awful, especially after reading all of the other reviews, I was pretty pleased with how underwhelming the smell was. It has stuck in my hair since the process this morning but I don't expect it to last more than a day or two.

Great product & would use again if I have another color disaster!

            Smells like sewage

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

Okay so I dyed my hair bright red because I was bored (if you knew me you wouldn't be surprised) then I didn't like it one bit. Read the reviews, read that everyone was unhappy with the smell, laughed to myself in my head because I have the strongest stomach out of anyone I know, no smell is so bad that it would make me rage... At least that's what I thought... I have cleaned up after dogs, cats, babies I have cleaned drains and old containers of mold, I have cleaned disgusting cars, couches and just about everything else you can think of, I have also used just about every box dye and professional dye brand my hair has been every color of the rainbow and I have even got it permanently straightened before. Needless to say, I have smelt all kinds of bad... But wow I have never smelt anything worse than this product, when I put it on it was completely fine it's the smell after that got me, every make up brush, every hair spray bottle, every last piece of anything in my bathroom literally smelled like sewage, it has been three days and I just finished bleaching every last part of my bathroom and washing every single product I own. I pray that tomorrow when I go in there it doesn't still smell because I will probably break things if it does. I probably sound completley crazy to you but I don't even care at this point, i have used products that don't work at all and I still would've never taken the time to write a review about them.
The product itself is okay, it did lighten my hair but I wouldn't say it's magical. Its a very runny consistency and it will get everywhere and then it will smell so bad you'll want to rip your hair out. For once I actually think I don't want to experiment with my hair ever again because of the aftermath that I had to deal with.
Overall, it will fix your hair but you might want to wear a gas mask and lock yourself in a steel room that doesn't have one piece of lint that would absorb the horrid smell.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

This has to be the worst product bar none! I tried it in October with disastrous results, but I believe in second chances...I tried this garbage again and it did pretty much the same thing: The top portion of my hair was left a brassy blonde, the middle was a gradient of reds and the ends were dark reddish brown. It wouldn't be so bad if my hair had come out all one color. On top of that, after contacting the company twice I have yet to hear from them. I would say just skip this stuff!
The smell is sulfuric...like rotten eggs and it does quite a bit of damage to your hair.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

So I'm the kind of person that never learns their lesson. I know when something doesn't look good and I swear never to do it again. Then boredom sets in and I do exactly what I said I wouldn't do. Again.

With that being said, I cut almost 4 inches off my hair and dyed it ash-black. It didn't say JUST black so how dark could it actually get?..... IT WAS VERY DARK. I went from an auburn (not nature) color to dark, dark black. I compared myself to an Amish Goth kid... who doesn't even exist but if one did...I would be that person.

I was going to wait and see how much would fade but I couldn't bear looking in the mirror anymore. I decided to Google and see what options I did have without going to the salon and spending money I did not have. I came across Color Oops and immediately read reviews. There were some that did not rave about this product AT ALL (mentioning hair loss) so I was very skeptical. I decided to try it anyway because I did not have too many options. I'm glad I did!!

I have fine hair, not thick what-so-ever. It is also shoulder length now. So I don't require a lot of dye to begin with so I was ok with just one box. I applied it quickly like people tell you to do. I saturated my whole head and put the cap on. Waited 20 minutes and VOILA! It was orangish/yellowish at the roots and brown at the tips. It says it goes back to your original hair color. It didn't do that for me. BUT that's ok! All I needed to do was lighten it enough to put color over top (which you can do the same day). It did not stink NEARLY as bad as the rest of the reviews said. I shampooed my hair a hand full of times and kept rinsing for 20 minutes under warm water. My hair was not damaged at all when it finally dried. It was just an undesirable color. I then dyed it light brown. And now my hair is back to normal (before the auburn)! No damage and no hair loss.

I do recommend this product if you are looking to put color over top. My hair looks nature and feels great.

                    Hope this helps!!
