This is by far the BEST product I've ever used on my hair. I was a little hesitant at first because of the high price tag but after one try I am hooked. After being diagnosed with a thryoid problem, my hair took a downward fall. It became dry, brittle, flat and has started to thin out. This product has added shine, luster, bounce and a fullness I haven't seen in months!

All the Alterra products are great. My one complaint is that the Life Solutions line has stopped making the spray mousse I love and I am so disappointed as it was a great product too.

Alterna's Caviar line does what it promises - overall improvement of aging hair. I don't think I'll use the Detox shampoo daily because I like the Bodybuilding formula a little better. But, my hair looks south better with Caviar products than any other. I didn't list the smell as a con because it doesn't really smell bad, per se, just not amazing.
I will continue using it weekly and for sure repurchase.

I purchased both the shampoo & conditioner. I had been using Alterna Bamboo products. they were pretty good, but volumized my hair without too much body, I felt.
I purchased the Caviar Anti- Aging Volumizing line, with hopes that I wouldn't like it and knew I could return it to Ulta, as it was very pricey. Well, forget it! This product line left my hair shiney, bodified w/ some volume and manageable even though my hair is too long right now. I feel as though my hair is younger and healthy again!.

I am 38 and my hair has started to change due to aging and hormones. I am anemic and hypothyroid as well as gluten sensitive. I have tried all kinds of products even pureology and it was not as great as this. My hair is thinning and I am losing it as well. I tried Wen and lost more hair and it did not work well for me at all. I will have to pay for this because its the only thing that works .

I love this conditioner. Every one around me takes notice when I use it. It makes my hair lighter, the color has more depth & I have less split ends. As with any shampoo and conditioner its best to switch monthly.
