I find this to be the best sulfate-free shampoo. I need to use sulfate-free to extend my brazilian blowout's results of straight frizz less hair. I tried using inexpensive alternatives (which is probably any other shampoo) but they seemed to not yield the same results of shinier and silky hair. This shampoo and conditioner actually is making me consider to not get another Brazilian Blowout because it made my wavy thinner hair that gets oily without daily washing look amazing but that may have something to with that I also stopped coloring my hair and flat-ironning. However, I stopped doing this while trying other shampoos but this one made a difference in my hair where I didn't want to grab the flat-iron.

Smells awesome, extremely gentle and mild - but lathers and cleans very well. i was surprized because otehr similar products (not containing chemicals, all natural) never worked nearly as well as this one. I use it with the matching conditioner. great product! money well spent

I bought this shampoo after trying the matching conditioner and loving it. The shampoo didn't work as well as the conditioner. For supposedly being a moisturizing shampoo, it felt like my hair was sticky and tangly after rinsing it out. I've continued using the Joico K-Pak moisturizing shampoo with the Alterna Caviar moisturizing conditioner. Much better!

I have used this product many times in my past and quit using it for a while. I came across it again during this purchase and had to have it! It is pricey but it is by far one of the best shampoos i have ever used. My hair feels so good after using this shampoo. Clean and soft.
