I've tried across the board acne spot products. This causes the least reddening on my adult acne pimples. Can be scaly-drying in the area, but I'm sticking with it.

I have been having adult acne breakouts, and this is the first blemish stick I've found that doesn't irritate my skin anymore than it already is, dry it out, or bleach anything it touches. It's easy and quick to use, goes well under makeup, and has helped soothe and clear my skin after only a few days of using it.

This product was recommended by one of the Ulta consultants and thank goodness for her, because I am over 40 and still get the blemishes and my teen daughter as well. It works for both skin types. It's a roll on and the night before after cleansing your skin apply to the areas that are blemished the next day, your skin is calm and not red and swollen. So, I recommend this product. It's worth the cost. :)
