I bought this because the colors of the beads caught my eye, they're very nice earthy/coral colors. It's beautiful and it matched a scarf I just bought. I wanted a ponytail holder that was more interesting than a plain one, and this was perfect for that. The only problem I've had is that my hair is long but thin and fine, and it's sort of difficult to get a tight ponytail because the holder has less give because of the beading around it, and the beads want to tangle in my hair. That's really to be expected though, I think it might work better on thick hair where it would need only one twist rather than two to hold the ponytail tight.

This product is probably great for straight hair. My grand daughter has very curly thick hair and it was painful to remove because the hair was caught in the wrap.
